Editorial Reviews
From the Author
JUST A quick note to my readers: I loosely based this novel on my early post-collegiate experience. While I visited several of the described places, the characters aren't real and the expressed philosophies and worldviews aren't necessarily all mine. For the most part, this is fictional.
That said, the seizures I describe and the feelings and scenarios associated with them are real. I have to cope with them regularly, and I wanted my reader to better understand what persons with Epilepsy deal with, and ultimately to see what we are capable of.
As with everything in life, nothing stays the same. One could say I'm being redundant in my subject exploration, but the truth of the matter is that seizures change and since I've had so many types, it only makes sense to describe the similarities and differences in a clearly stated way, if not to raise awareness then to provide some personal therapy as well. Thanks again for your support.

Despite a vision cut in both eyes from a failed brain surgery for Epilepsy, with the Lord's help, Josh continues to write, to see more and more detail, and hopes to improve with time.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2016Living daily life with Epilepsy is something that might leave questions to someone that has never struggled with any neurological problem. Daily living and the thoughts of an Epileptic is a battle all in its own. If anyone has ever wondered what might "rattle" our thoughts or keep us occupied as we struggle look no farther. This book allows you to take the journey of uncertainty and concern. Another must read book not only for those without Epilepsy for those with as well. This has opened my eyes and let me realize that I am NOT alone. Thank you again!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2014If you want to know what some one goes through that has seizures then this book is a must. Will help you understand what they go through and the fear of wondering when the next one will come and if anyone will be there to help with kindness.
