I love the way this author has laid out this new devotional book and all the great insights inside.
It is unique in that she focuses on all the different women of the Bible and explores their faith journey. From each one, the reader learns to practice prayer from a different perspective. With Eve, the focus is hope, Sarah’s is a journey of faith, Rehab's stories teach action, and I loved Ester’s story of purpose.
I first read the digital version and made notes in the end sections where the author leads me to personalize it with prayer, deeper thought or insights into myself. I like that!
I really like that this isn’t just a quick read of the authors impressions of scripture but that I’m challenged to apply the insights, thoughts and messages to me and to my life.
I feel like that’s what a devotional should do and this author certainly accomplished that with her new book.
I’ve also bought a hard copy because I prefer to read and mark up a “real” book as it impacts me.
I recommend this book and would give it as a gift (if I didn’t want to part with my own copy 😊).

Rachel Britton has written a beautiful devotional book that will help readers find assurance in their God-given identity. Each devotion relates to one of fifteen women of the Old Testament—with sound insights from the original language, as well as contextual teachings. The prayer that follows each devotion provides blanks so the reader can add her own unique additions. I enthusiastically recommend Pray Naturally, as it will help women find that their Creator God has lovingly designed them and desires that they approach Him in prayer . . . naturally.
