    I picked up this book along with the two following it at a Author meet and greet in Gettysburg. Let me start by saying that the author herself was a wonderful person, such a sweet and charming lady. I started reading this book once my school semester ended in the middle of December, 2018, and I count down the hours to when I am able to go back and read it. I am a slow reader but there is nothing better than sitting in my sun-room with a cup of coffee in one hand and this enthralling and capturing book in the other. If you haven't read these books you are missing out! I know there is a fourth book that I wasn't able to purchase so I will certainly be getting that one asap!!

    This is such a great series I wish the author had written more books!!! If you love History and Adventure this is an excellant series to read.
    I've read and reread these books so many times and I still get drawn in at how beautifully it is written. DEFINETLY BUY THIS SERIES!!!!

    The books in this series are absolutely incredible. The characters are very well developed, they are historically rich, and they are easy and fun to read. I read them until the covers were falling apart and I had parts of them memorized. I highly recommend them to anyone - even those who don't usually enjoy reading.

    I picked up this book at a convention. It sat on my shelf for a while then when I was looking for something to read one day I picked it up. And let me tell you, I never put it down! I read it, laughed, cryed, and even got a better perspective on the war. When I gave it to a friend to read, ( which I told her she better not lose it or else! ) She read it in one night & she doesnt like to read! Now if something comes up we will use some of the lines that are in the book such as " If you will permit me to sa so", or Thats a beautiful shade of pink your turning, it becomes you!" I would definatley tell everyone to read this series! It is the best in the whole wide world ! If you'll permit me to say so..., which you had better!=-)
