Bob Scott lives in both the world of comic strips and animation. Born in Detroit, he taught himself cartooning by copying what he saw in the the funny pages. Acceptance and graduation from California Institute of the Arts opened the world of character animation for Bob. He has worked over 35 years in the industry as an animator, character designer, storyboard artist and voice talent. His credits can be found on projects from Warner Brothers’ Bugs Bunny in Box Office Bunny, Turner Animation’s Cats Don’t Dance and Pixar’s The Incredibles. He has worked for Jim Davis, co-penciling U.S. Acres and co-directing Garfield: His 9 Lives. His heart has always wanted a comic strip of his own, and so Molly and the Bear aka Bear with Me was born and became a syndicated webcomic in 2010.

He's an animator and a cartoonist so it's no surprise that in "Molly and the Bear" Bob Scott has created a fun time! His book is a sweet, wonderfully charming, funny and beautifully drawn,large format coffee table volume filled with family friendly cartoons that everyone will love.Molly and the Bear is populated with fun, well defined characters who are comically consistent, incredibly expressive, warmly charming and fun.Between the plucky Molly to her grumpy Dad DeanI love Bear who is a sweetheart of a cowardly bear that I'm sure will steal your heart. I really love the way he's drawn. He's so cuddly and a hoot to look at!I really appreciate the chronology of the characters. The book is well thought out. The reader actually gets to see the origin of their relationships. I like that approach rather than being dropped into the midst of a story and trying to catch up.Great to look at and a wonderful time, get your copy of Molly and the Bear today!
