- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2020As the author of 35 books, I know how important it is for a writer to use social media to promote themselves and their works. I have read other books and articles about how writers need to embrace social media in order to succeed, but nothing has come close to the information, advice and tips that are presented in this book. Each chapter is written in easy to understand terms, and helps the reader develop a social media game plan that works for them. Whether you are a new writer, or one who has been around the block for awhile, I highly recommend "Social Media for Today's Writer!"
- Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2023For writers and speakers who must utilize social media to reach their tribe, this book gives easy and actionable steps to strengthen their social media presences. If you're a writer or speaker, you know you need to be on social media - I recommend you get this book to help you get there without trying to figure it all out by yourself.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2020DiAnn Mills and Edie Melson have taken the social media language and broken it down into easy-to-understand lingo for the seasoned writer and the novice one, also. As a longtime attendee of the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference, I’ve learned much from these two conference directors over the years about the writing journey. Mills and Melson have a wealth of knowledge about the industry, and now I’m so excited to have their social media expertise in one handy publication. I’ve already underlined sentences, starred paragraphs, and dog-eared pages. It’s a must for the writers’ personal library!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2022As a seasoned social media expert I thought there is no way these ladies can teach me anything. WRONG !

- Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2022Wow! This is just what I needed as a writer of a certain age. In my family/friend-life, I am fairly adept at social media and yet a somewhat reluctant poster. (We all have peops in our life who overpost and share questionable material, which makes us proceed with caution, eh?) So when I thought about how I can start posting as a soon-to-be debut novelist, it gave me pause. I'm overwhelmed by the how, what, when, where to post. This book covers it all and has given me a better idea how to structure my approach to it and what on earth to say that will not be self-serving. Highly recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2020I learned new things about social media while reading this book despite the workshops and webinars I have attended in the past. It is easy to read and follow and provides steps to take for taking inventory of social media platforms you already use or if you are just getting started.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2021This book is packed with helpful tips for writers whether they are new to social media or who just want to make the most out of it. I have a ton of notes for how to improve my social media presence without getting lost in the weeds. Awesome resource for an writer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Social Media Wisdom!
This book is so good and impactful I kept one for myself and then bought it again to give away.
Edie shares insights that has taken her years to learn. And for as much as she is a great teacher in this book, she is also your cheerleader. She comes alongside you and walks you through the ins and outs of social media and keeps you safe along the way.
Thanks Edie!
