A must-have for a writer's personal library
DiAnn Mills and Edie Melson have taken the social media language and broken it down into easy-to-understand lingo for the seasoned writer and the novice one, also. As a longtime attendee of the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference, I’ve learned much from these two conference directors over the years about the writing journey. Mills and Melson have a wealth of knowledge about the industry, and now I’m so excited to have their social media expertise in one handy publication. I’ve already underlined sentences, starred paragraphs, and dog-eared pages. It’s a must for the writers’ personal library! -Julie Lavender, author of 365 Ways to Love Your Child: Turning Little Moments into Lasting Memories (Revell/Baker Publishing)

As the author of 35 books, I know how important it is for a writer to use social media to promote themselves and their works. I have read other books and articles about how writers need to embrace social media in order to succeed, but nothing has come close to the information, advice and tips that are presented in this book. Each chapter is written in easy to understand terms, and helps the reader develop a social media game plan that works for them. Whether you are a new writer, or one who has been around the block for awhile, I highly recommend "Social Media for Today's Writer!"

Wow! This is just what I needed as a writer of a certain age. In my family/friend-life, I am fairly adept at social media and yet a somewhat reluctant poster. (We all have peops in our life who overpost and share questionable material, which makes us proceed with caution, eh?) So when I thought about how I can start posting as a soon-to-be debut novelist, it gave me pause. I'm overwhelmed by the how, what, when, where to post. This book covers it all and has given me a better idea how to structure my approach to it and what on earth to say that will not be self-serving. Highly recommend.

This book is so good and impactful I kept one for myself and then bought it again to give away.
Edie shares insights that has taken her years to learn. And for as much as she is a great teacher in this book, she is also your cheerleader. She comes alongside you and walks you through the ins and outs of social media and keeps you safe along the way.
    Thanks Edie!
