A Hero for Dry Creek
Garrett Hamilton didn't see himself a heroor even a man worthy of a good woman'slove. But Nicki Redfern, the lovely rancherhe'd been sent to protect, was making himwonder if he'd somehow found everything hewasn't even looking for .

- Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2014These are two ten star books! I laughed my way through both of them, and at the end cried. Not sad tears, happy tears. I don't know when I've read two more delightful books. Janet Tronstad's sense of humor tickled me. I do like the country setting with ranches, a community caring for one another, and a local church. Add a couple of old time characters and various stores sprinkled about. Makes for a down home kind of feeling. Even if readers have never lived out west, nor in a small town, they will enjoy these marvelous stories. I cannot wait to read the next. Be blessed and enjoy! :)
- Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2013I read, a Gentleman in Dry Creek and Snowbound in Dry Creek, and I wondered about what Garrett and Nikki and Jenny and Robert's stories were. A Rich Man and A Hero for Dry Creek did satisfy my interest and are both written well.
