A thriller of fear and faith that “takes a young woman on a journey to find her past and leads the reader right into a mystery about the present” (Fresh Fiction).

“Never go back to Burlington!” Those were the dying words of the secretive aunt who’d raised orphaned Marylee Simson. Yet to discover who she was, Marylee had to go back, sure the Lord would look out for her. But learning anything about her past was proving impossible. Why were there no records of the accident that claimed her parents’ lives? No records of her parents, period? And who was trying to stop her from finding out? Someone whose threats were escalating. Someone close to her, such as Evan Baxter, the handsome photographer she’d entrusted with the one clue she had.

Welcome to my amazon page! I hope you will browse my list of books. Almost all of my books are available for your Kindle, so load up your Kindle with lots of good reading! If you like mystery, thriller or romantic suspense, you've come to the right place.

Most of my novels have something to do with the sea. I grew up near the ocean and my love of the ocean was born when I was a child. When I was a little girl I remember sitting on the shore and watching the waves and contemplating what was beyond. I could do that for hours.

One of the things my husband and I enjoy is sailing. In the summer we basically move aboard our 34' sailboat aptly named - Mystery.

Both my husband Rik and I have achieved the rank of Senior Navigator, the highest rank possible in CPS. The U.S. sister organization is the U.S.P.S. My Senior Navigator diploma hangs proudly on my office wall.

What this all means is that I know how to use a sextant and can 'theoretically' find my way home by looking at the stars.

This is one of the best Love Inspired Suspense stories I've read and the first one by this author. I had a hard time putting it down. I had to find out who Marylee really was. I'll be reading more from the author.

Linda Hall is a very good author and her books are done sort of locally, in Maine and Vermont. (I live in NH and have been to both states.)

There wasn't a lot of fluff in this story and there was nothing boring. Definitely a quick read.

Marylee discovers some strange things about her past. She isn't even sure who she really is. The more she tries to discover the truth, the more oddities she uncovers. Can she trust a particular friend or is he/she in on it as well?

Easy and fast read. I actually saw a sample of this story in a very old Today's Christian Woman Magazine that I hung onto. I started reading it and I was hooked. I could only find the book used and got it for a fairly reasonable price for a used paper back. The story had me on my toes waiting to see what happened next and trying to guess who done it? If you like mystery/suspense/romance you will enjoy this story. It's cleanly done as well.

A romance novel that I wouldn't be ashamed of if my daughter got ahold of it. Well written and easy to read. A great rainy day book.

Suspense with many well developed characters and plots all woven together. Keeps you on the edge of your seat and mentally challenged to identify "Who done it."

This is the 8th Linda Hall novel I've read and, thought it's not as complex and intense as some of her previous ones, it's still beautifully written and full of intrigue. The heroine is totally believable, which is really important in drawing the reader in. You want to keep reading because you care about the character and want to get right in there and help her out!
