This book was the final book in a story about the Aisling triplets. I enjoy the series sooooo much the I actually paid for all three books. The first two I was able to get from a secondhand bookstore. However, I was so desperate to read the last book I purchased it for my kindle.

If you like stories about ESP, you should thoroughly enjoy this book . The first two books are also by Cait London.

The last of the Aisling sisters without a protector, Leona, has drawn the psychic vampire stalking the family who now sees her as the weakest link and a way to obtain the mysterious Viking Brooch and it's supposed power. Leaving a long list of folks he has used and then killed, Rolf will stop at nothing to conquer the Aisling clan. Unfortunately for him, what he thought was a clever setup to ensnare Leona, backfires when she meets Owen and his sister Janice. Owen becomes her lover and protector as they face this cunning and powerful psychic killer.

This, the final volume of the Aisling saga, bristles with tension of this long expected showdown. While well plotted, the story isn't quite as striking as the second volume which I would rate as the best of the three IMHO. Still, it is a fitting end and a "must read" if you are following this saga. Cait London has a tendency to repeat her descriptions, and her prose is sometimes muddy, but that tends to heighten the tension and doesn't slow things down.

While it's hard to have too much sex in a novel like this, it did seem get in the way at times. Of all the sisters, I found Leona the least understandable. but it is clear that the author had a good time crafting the Aisling saga. This is a trilogy that will hold your attention through all three volumes.
