Her Texas Lawman (Men of the West Book 12) Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 41 ratings

Shoulders as broad and strong as Texas

That was Lucita Sanchez's first thought as Deputy Ripp McCleod rescued her from a crash. Here was a man that a woman could count on. One who wouldn't betray his wife and leave her with a son to raise alone. But as Ripp investigated her "accident" they realized someone had targeted Lucita—and her son might also be in danger.

Though Ripp vowed to protect Lucita with his life, he was wary about offering up his heart. Still, the proud yet vulnerable ranching heiress compelled him to stay close. Could this disaster be the best thing that ever happened to them?

I was very pleased with the book received. It was in great condition and cost low.

This is a series book and if you want to get the whole story, reading the whole series is best. I was able to read the two books, "A Texan on Her Doorstep and this book to find out what happened when the mother was found. I am not sure which is which, but that is all of this series that I read. Although I like Stella Bagwell's writing, I don't read her as much as I used to because of the sex. I have a good imagination and a few words convey to me what happened, so the pages and pages that writer's have of telling every little detail don't add to the book for me, in fact, sometimes it takes away from the book. A good book.

Well done. I really like the tenderness of this relationship, and at the same time, there's plenty of external plot and adventure. Sexy, too. I'll have to check out more of Stella Bagwell's list.

I always like Stella Bagwell's stories. She brings you in at the beginning and keeps you there until the end.
