About the authors
JAMES S. BELL, JR. (B.A., Holy Cross College; M.A. University College, Dublin) is the owner of Whitestone Communications, a literary development agency. He previously served as executive editor at Moody Press (now Moody Publishers), director of religious publishing at Doubleday, and publisher at Bridge Publishing. James is the author of six books, including The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Bible, and has received cover credit for his work on more than 15 others. He currently lived in West Chicago with his wife, Margaret, and their four children.
Robin is the author of Christian and "sweet" romance, including the Carol Award winning "The Artist's Granddaughter." She compiled a collection of devotionals for writers, "Words to Write By," featuring work by many well-known Christian authors including Robin Lee Hatcher and Cecil Murphy. She lives in Maryland with her husband of 26 years, and works a day job in community bank lending.
Veteran award-winning writer, Stephen R. Clark, is a native of New Castle, Indiana and a graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, has been writing for more than 40 years.
He has authored short stories, poetry, online content, ad copy, scripts, speeches, direct mail, feature articles, and much more. He has also ghostwritten several Christian books including "Preparing for Battle" by Mark Bubeck (Moody Press). He has contributed chapters to compilations, devotionals, and other books including the "NIV Men’s Devotional Bible" (Zondervan) and "Inside Mysteries of the Bible" (Time & American Bible Society).
"The Hungering Dark: Awakening" is Clark’s first full-length novel. He has also authored three collections of poetry, most recently "Fading."
