Loved the plot plot and story. Having had 14surgeries in 20 years, I could relate to Jude. Faith has always been my go to. Christ walks me through a lot even when I unintentionally lose touch.

I really love the chemistry between Jude and Lace, the way they verbally responded was so funny. I love the way she stood up to him. I've read all three Sinclair books, love them all, but this one most of all. I like many people had a bad childhood, not to so great marriage, its nice to see things workout, eventhough its in book. This story, like so many of Shirlee McCoy's stories, reminds us how much future relationships are influenced by those we've had in the past. These characters and their suspenseful setting make for an entertaining read, and, of course, Shirlee has reminded us, too, that God's influence is what ties the story together.

It's a good book but you need to read all three books to get the total of all the Sinclair family members straight.

This was an unexpected type of love story. Jude was bitter and lacey was terribly hurt and not looking for any type of relationship because of her history.

I don't think I've read the previous two books in this series, but it didn't seem to matter. I liked the two main characters individually. I didn't like the often-used-in-this-genre plot points of 1) he/she is a client so I can't fall in love with him/her and 2) I love him/her but I'm afraid of getting hurt if I get emotionally close so I'll just walk away. Having that happen so often throughout the story really turned me off.

Both Jude and Lacey have pasts that are not part of this book--I'm not sure if any of Jude's was in a previous book in the series or not, since as I said, I haven't read those. We know he was in an accident that hurt his legs but no details. Lacey's history is visited a bit more as the book goes on, but even that isn't really spelled out in great detail.
