This was a sweet book. Jonas is a Texas Ranger working undercover. His cover is working as a ranch manager for Alexa. His mission is to find, and arrest hustlers that are bringing in cows illegally from Mexico. The book is a nice slow pace, with a little action, and a few emotional moments that that Alexa, and Jonas shares. One stormy night, when the rivers were flooded and impassable. Alexa goes into labor. The phones are down, and it was Jonas that was there to help delivery the beautiful little baby. Could a special moment shared by both of them turn into the forever kind of love?

Sample from chapter 7
Jonas had kissed her and held her. He'd even delivered her child. But he'd never once talked about love or forever. Would she be crazy to think he would ever talk about those things with her/ The questions was still swirling around n her mind when she saw his eyes flutter open and slowly focus on her face. She smiled and her heart swelled to such fullness that she could hardly breathe. "Good morning," he said huskily. "Are you okay?" "I'm" She blinked as happy tears gathered in her eyes. "I'm wonderful. Thanks to you."

II tried to enjoy the book but it was boring. ther heroine was dull and a little niave ( she supposed fell in love with the hero within a short period of time (without a hug or even a kiss)). To me the hero had no personality. The crime story (he is a Texas Ranger undercover) wasn't fleshed out real well(the whole reason he was in the ranch was to look in to the crime and I think it was discussed in a handfull of pages. Skip the book.
