I have this book and my husband and I have really enjoyed it. There are a lot of little wisdom tips in the book, as well as things to laugh about. When you read certain things in the book it will relate to your personal experiences that you can reminise on together. Great Great Book! You will enjoy it. Blessings to you!

Bought for clueless little brother that keeps talking about marrying this girl that he doesn't get along with very much. I thought this may open his eyes to pick someone that he LIKES. We will see. It is a good book, and it should help matters, but he is really dense.

The book suggests avoiding your unmarried friends. I wonder why married people need to avoid unmarried people to be happy? Maybe they're snobs? Maybe they like fostering stigma against being single? Maybe they're jealous..?

It's a fun book to give at a bridal shower....so much truth in it!!

Sterotypical and religious-based but enjoyable for a quick read. The 'things' are one- or two-sentence rules such as '292.You need to know if you can't control your spending, you'll have issues' and '680. You need to know that your adultry isn't your spouse's fault."

There are various chapters such as Marriage Plan and Marriage and Sex and Marriage is work. The religious references aren't specifically gears to any one religion thought they appear to be more Christian than otherwise. An example is 165. You need to know to keep a place inside you reserved for God alone.

So, nothing earthshaking, nothing new, nothing you didn't already know; but sometimes a reminder is useful.

The writer must be very religious person, which is clearly transparent in the book.
If you are a believer yourself you will not find it annoying otherwise have in mind before buying.
