I was challenged at a conference in Scotland to conquer my inner critic and focus on doing something I had always wanted to do but didn’t. So I wrote a trilogy, Finding Passion: Confessions of a Fifty-Year Old Runaway; Sensing Passion: Travels of a Fifty-Five Year Old Divorcee’ (which won the Greatest Start writing contest) and Embracing Passion: Adventures of a Woman., all available on Amazon. My daughter Tessie and I also completed a book of poetry and prose, Embracing Passion: A Heart's Desire. What can I say? I love passion. I just finished writing Maumee Wattaa: Queen of the Ocean. The story came about because of my frequent visitors to Liberia where someone would know someone that had come upon her while she was bathing and taken her comb. I wanted to show that such a character would have to have an indomitable amount of strength but also show her vulnerability and give girls confidence in themselves. And now I am back to And Your Whole Damn Family. Please let me know what you think.

I understand the pain of looking yourself to someone. I enjoyed seeing Lynn get herself back. I suggest that all new divorcee should take a day and read this for clarity.

Even the title is spelled wrong on this edition! See other reviews with "Passion" spelled correctly. My mother raised me with an invisible red pencil for grammar and spelling so I did have to take away a star for the editing. But I do agree with other reviewers. This book made me laugh out loud so many times that people asked me what was so funny. I have read all three of the books about Lynn's adventures and hope there will be more. She is a likable character who doesn't always make the best decisions but watching her personal growth through the series was inspiring.

I laughed out loud multiple times while reading this. I wish it had been longer. I'll definitely read anything else that this author writes!

Loved the adventures of Lynn as she trys to (re?)discover herself after a painful break. It lets you know you are never to old to find yourself. I read the author's first book "Finding Passion" and I think this is a great follow up novel!

2.0 out of 5 stars Alright Read

This book starts of well enough and captures your interest. It's witty at times and the lead character is very believable. It's a story of forced change and self discovery and belief. However after the first few chapters it gets very repetitive and you can easily predict the ending.

Reasonable read if your willing to plod through.

I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor. Doesn't even seem to have been copy edited. Starts off potentially O.K. but deteriates as plot goes to nothing.
