About the author

Born in England and now living in Canada, Ann grew up loving history, but majored in business, with history on the side. She has a husband and two lovely daughters and a Maltese Terrier called Teaser, who likes to sit on a chair beside the computer while she works.
Beginning her career as a University Administrator, her love of the past and the stories in her imagination brought her to a fork in the road.
After writing her first novel in 2000, a never-see-the-light-of-day-effort, and having her first book published in 2006, she decided to write full time in 2008 and hasn't looked back.
She loves the Georgian era, and within that, the period known as the long Regency. She also adores happy endings.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2014I loved M&B, since I was young. Enjoyed this book very much, well written and great story.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2013This was such a nice book.
All the stuff of historical romances.
And very steamy sex scenes.
I really enjoyed Eleanor and Garrick's romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2013A thrilling read with lists of twist and turn. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading another novel by Ann Lethbridge
- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2012I gave this 5 stars as the story captured many attention right from the very start . Very good read
- Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2015Good plot and likeable characters. I liked the fact that leading lady was a bit of a tomboy. An easy book to recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2012One of those books you read to relax and imagine you are the the one easy read and fun loved it!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2012If I could give minus stars I would. The characters were cardboard, the plot ridiculous and as for the historical content: the only bits of history were the swish of clothes, a number of horse and trap journeys and a mention or two of Napoleon.. I am so glad it was free.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2011it was a good book, the characters and story just what i normally like to read but it was just so short, mills & boon arnt really known for being long but this one took me less then an hour to read was dissappointed as it only really had a middle, no real start or end

5.0 out of 5 stars Better then Jane Austen's Pride and Prejustice!
What a lovely, lovely story! I was one of them books I didn't want to put down, turning one page after the other! So nicely written, with just hot sex scences! Sissling! You must get this one! And so much more fun as "Pride and Prejustice"!

5.0 out of 5 stars Well written, good story
I'm quite fussy about my Historical Romances (as another reviewer said, a guilty pleasure of mine!), but this one ticked all the boxes for me. So many of them are poorly written with a ridiculous plot. I found this one really enjoyable with believable characters and thought all the saucy bits were very well written. Enough depth that I will keep it on my kindle to re-read in the future and will be downloading more of Ann Lethbridge's works as enjoyed this one so much. (Just a small point to the publisher; I liked the title of the Italian edition much better - Lady Moonlight - as it's far more descriptive of the book's contents than the English title.)

4.0 out of 5 stars Verzwickter Regency-Roman
Macht Spass.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wicked Rake, Defiant Mistress
I'm going to break the mould a bit and give "Wicked Rake, Defiant Mistress" 4 stars.
I enjoyed reading it, and whilst it may not be highbrow literature, I was expecting a lot less from the title! I have to admit that Regency romances are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, and I was pleasantly surprised in this one that the "Defiant Mistress" was actually defiant - or at least compared to many of her counterparts in other similar books.
I found it to be a nice easy read, with twists that I did not expect, and a satisfying happy ending - just what I needed!
