- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2023I'm rereading these old books I purchased in 2013 and they are very entertaining. Books in 2023 are very over the top a lot of the time. Good book and worth reading.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2016One of my favorite things about this romance novel is that the conflict is actually believable. As opposed to your more standard the-love-interest-is-kind-of-a-dick-and-the-heroine-changes-him-with-her-love format, this is a couple who split up before the narrative started because they were failing to communicate properly and as such lacked in trust and the ability to express their love for each other in a way that made sense to the other person. (If you know anything about love languages, basically they have different love languages: he shows love with gifts and physical touch, she shows love with time and words. So they both come to believe that the other doesn't love them, because they're just missing how the other is showing it.)
So basically the couple actually has to learn to communicate and work out their issues together as opposed to just having a lot of sex and then immediately living happily ever after. I like that.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2014There's a reason why Olivia Gates is one of my favourite authors and this book is just another one of them.
This story takes us into the world of Mohab and Jala and brings its into a love so strong that neither a family feud nor time can diminish it.
I always fall in love with Olivia's heros. They're so delicious! And her heroines are always so strong and loveable and Jala is no exception. Even after a somewhat difficult life she still has dignity and strength.
A fabulous read and I recommend it to all lovers of romance!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2016Pretty good book by Sarah Morgan. Stasia and Rico have been married less than a year when major problems set in. Rico works LONG hours and Stasia gets bored sitting home waiting for him to notice her. Thrown into the situation is Rico's teenage sister who dslikes Stasia on sight as do the rest of his family who think she's a gold digger. Things come to a head when Rico catches Stasia in their bed with a naked man. She packs her bags & returns to England & Rico files for divorce. The divorce is almost final when Rico appears on her doorstep wanting her to return to Scicily with him. His sister has had a riding accident & has woken from a coma & is calling her name! Reluctantly Stasia returns, pretending she & Rico are newly weds! I really wanted to slap Rico up side the head through out the book for his roughshod treatment of Stasia. Otherwise a good book.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2016When Rico's sister is recovering from a head injury she asks for her sister in law. The same one whom Rico is in the process of divorcing. But to help his sister recover he will go to hell and back. Even if it means seeing his soon to be ex wife. But will she come? This story line has secrets that was kept and it hurt their marriage? Will all be told and if so will it hurt or help the marriage? Sarah Morgan way of telling this story kept me reading till the very end.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2014**Spoiler Alert**
I think the misunderstanding between the H & the h should have been cleared sooner but still a pretty good quick read!
While I understand that some other reviews thought that the sister should have come out and confessed, I think that it was a kind of good thing in a way, because it showed that the H was really in love with the h, enough to come after her for a second chance, even despite what he thought she had done.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2012Sarah Morgan has a fantastic gift of writing about second chances. I love them because usually you're head first into the deep end because the couple in question have already met and have a history so you get among the story immediately. Public Wife, Private Mistress is no exception and I love it. It's been a while since I read this so I will re read at some stage and make this a more meaningful review that it deserves.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2020They fell for each other without knowing why. Kinda like every woman’s dream. Right?
But she didn’t fit in and I hate that this book didn’t address it. Tons of plot holes.
Ok read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Emotionally-charged and funny
This is a very witty author I discovered recently. This is not my favourite book by this author but it is still a decent emotionally charged and witty read.
