    Okay. Let me be straight. I had low expectations. I bought the Doc's previous books, only to be - quite frankly - a bit disappointed. Read the first paragraph of the Political Zoo's description of Condi Rice.. She is "brilliant .. savvy .. articulate ... and inexhaustibly talented." I almost vomited when I read that in 2006 (in my view, she should have been fired for missing the tell-tale signals leading up to 9/11). Even the great Doctor in 2007 said she "was chosen by George Bush as part of an affirmative action program in order to make his Cabinet look like America" and called her "a schoolmarm who has been pushed up the ladder all of her life because of social engineering." I don't know if I agree with either of those statements, but it's the inconsistency which I don't understand.

    So I just don't get it. Savage is full of things like that - where he says something only to take a 180 position later on. Part of it is - I guess - because he is not scripted, and can change his mind on things. Or perhaps it's his mood. He is very honest and will tell someone to hose off one day, only to have a pleasant conversation with the same type of chap a few days later. He's real, not artificial. He's the normal Joe down the street, whose been around the block a couple of times. He's not perfect, but he's refreshingly honest (though not necessarily consistent) in his opinions. Don't get me wrong. I listen to Doc Savage everyday. He's the only talk show radio host who wasn't and isn't a shill for the Republican Party. He CARRIES NOBODY'S WATER, to quote the "great Rushahushy".

    Now down to brass tacks. This book is good. It's damned good. The chapter on Obama's marxist indoctrination, and his lack of disclosure about his background is mindboggling. I mean, he won't release his college and law school transcripts? really? REALLY? You can tell that the Doc really put his heart into this book. It doesn't read like a script from his talk show (like his other books where you can almost hear him talking as your read it). This book is different. It's one meant to make a persuasive argument against the incremental marxism that we have been experiencing as a nation since 1930. It's an incredible read, and very hard to put down after you start reading it.

    In terms of a con, there are none. It's that good.

    When I first heard Doctor Michael Savage in 1997 I said to my friend "This guy is great! He tells it like it should be". Ever since then I have become a member of the Savage Nation and refer to him as the "Scalpel" of talk show hosts. He has the ability to cut through B.S. topics and get right to the truth unlike the butter knife "Rush Limbaugh and Shawn "The Wall banger" Hannity. Dr. Savage's mind is like a Corvette that can idle along at regular speeds and then accelerate to 150 MPH in a blink of an eye. Listening to him talk about how he would put a blockade at the Strait of Hormuz so Iran could not get any oil in or out and how he would bomb there ports is ingenious. His idea of how to take out the Muslim pirates and deal with illegal immigration show his ingenious ability to talk on all levels and deals with critical issues.

    Michael's precision at addressing the problems with the Obama administration is laid out perfectly in "Trickle Up Poverty". Michael pulls no punches and lays out a strategy for conservative Americans to take back this country from the stealth "Muslim Marxist Leninist' in the White House. This is hands down the best book I have ever read.

    His book shows that we need a President like Senator Jim DeMint, Governor Rick Perry, Michele Bachman, Joe Miller, or Chris Christie. It's time for the conservative American Party to take back this country from the American hating lefties that occupy the White House. I think that all possible candidates for the next presidential election should read and implement Doctor Savage's 37-point plan into their own philosophy.

    One last thing before I wrap up this review. I get a kick out of Dr. Savage when he discusses Liberal Marin County and I couldn't agree with him more. I grew up in Corte Madera, California, which is in the heart of Marin County, and it is full of useful idiots who place Obama Biden stickers and "Coexist" stickers on their hybrids. I am one who has not fallen prey to Marin County's idiocy. I had parents who taught me that America is the best country in the world and our military and our economic strength are second to none. That is what I teach my kids today.

    Doctor Savage is a treasure and I wish him many more years of prosperity on the airwaves. God bless America and The Savage Nation!!!
