This was a great addition to the Sisters of the Heart series. I wanted to keep reading more about all the wonderful families and the new lives the children were starting so Grace was a great way to bring them all back together again for me for the christmas holiday. Just in time for our holiday season to start. The holidays can be challenging for everyone and to see how the family accomodated their holiday challenge was inspiring. Life does not always work out the way we want.

Shelly shows that even the Amish can have life challenges but she also shows us how we can trust our family and friends to be there for us and with grace we can resolve even the most difficult ones. You have to open your heart when you read her books and focus on life's most basic emotions that are so easy to forget in our complex lives. Readers of all faiths can come away from them feeling good about ourselves and have hope. She reminds us how human we all really are, to embrace it and share it.

I would buy more Sisters of the Hearts books if there are any being considered!!!

This was a very enjoyable and encouraging read, with multiple stories intermixed in a festive, clean atmosphere. I know I can always count on this author to produce good stuff, and this was one of the better ones.

I bought this because I wanted something Christmas-y to read. It met all my expectations! It was inspiring and thought-provoking, as I could identify with the emotions of the main character as she struggled with having her plans and ideas for Christmas turned upside down! Although there are some places that the story evolves in a predictable way, it still had enough twists to keep it interesting. Inspiring Christmas story!

I have read a few of Shelley Shepard Gray's series (mostly trilogies or Christmas sequels to trilogies) and have yet to read a bad one. She writes Amish-theme books and manages to make each story heroine unlike the others and each story unlike the others. That is not always the case with some authors . That is why I never hesitate to get any book Shelley writes.

Grace was a very easy read and kept your interest. Shelly Shepard Gray is one of my favorite authors. She always writes in a way that you wonder what will happen next. ( a least for me)

I read this book and thought that it was very well written. I had read the first 3 books in the series, and I was looking forward to reading this one just in time for Christmas. I was not disappointed. It was a great book that I read in one day!

My complaints are not with the story itself, which I enjoyed (as I have the entire series from Shelley Shepard Gray), but with the production of the Kindle version of the book.

I have both the printed and Kindle versions. I got the Kindle version since it is currently on-sale and I'm trying to convert a lot of my hard-copy books into electronic versions. The Kindle version of the book is pretty disappointing. It is full of typos that do not exist in the printed version and should not exist in a professionally edited/produced book. In just the first chapter it contains: shortempered, hous-guest, toexpensive, wors-case. There were more, but I tried to stop noticing after awhile and tried to just enjoy the story.

I'll be honest and say this makes me a bit hesitant to continue converting my hard-copy books into Kindle versions if this is an example of what to expect. It may be a bit nit-picky, but typos like these jump out at me and jar me out of the flow of the story. I would expect a more professional job from a publishing house as large as HarperCollins e-books.

This book "Grace" part of the "Sisters of the Heart Series" completes the series. It is as good and better than the other three books in the series. I enjoyed them, especially the great endings. Many wonderful marriages happen in this story, maybe through trying circumstances but in the end it is very interesting and well written.
