I loved Loved Loved this book. Rafael was just like all the other heroes. His heart was full of hate and thoughts of revenge. But you know the old saying, the bigger they are the harder they fall. Rafael was rich, handsome and he was just unpleasant. I loved him from the start because even though he didn't know it, he wore his heart on his sleeve. Louise worked for Rafael and she just loved him and gave herself to him. Maybe not the smartest move but what the heck, it's a fine story. I liked her too because she was not a door mat, as a matter of fact she outsmarted him at every turn. It was an awesome story and I recommend it highly.

This book is a great story and gives a lot of details to be a Harlequin Presents. Great dialogue between the characters. Louisa the housekeeper falls in love with her billionaire boss and eventually, after lots of heart ache, he realizes he loves her too. Definitely will read a second and maybe a third time.

I like Lucas' books because her arrogant billionaires aren't as repulsive before their redemption as most other authors' in the "Unexpected Babies" line tend to be. Rafe's not great, let's be honest here, because if he was, this wouldn't be a scandalous pregnancy, but his boneheadedness is limited to one, "you wouldn't betray me, WOULD YOU," speech before Louisa runs off. Then he gets another asinine, "I'll make your life hell by marrying you and treating you like dog kibble," threat and one last idiotic move before someone knocks some sense into him, but in general, he's an okay guy. He isn't the misogynist pig so many of these guys can be.

Louisa's a bit of a nonentity, which was a disappointment. She did a lot of boo-hooing about her situation, then patting herself on the back about how brave she was to strike out on her own even though she was afraid of the big bad Rafe and how she would fall apart into a puddle of goo when he kissed her. Her little issue that kept her from confiding in Rafe in the beginning was moronic, but then again, I wouldn't be addicted to these like Lindt truffles if they were any different. I was glad to see she'd gotten a backbone later in the book, sad to see she lost it when Rafe reappeared. At least the sex was massively good.

There was too much darting around from place to place; less time going on and on about how Louisa was such a good housekeeper and her shudder-worthy white chocolate brownies, more about their relationship would have been nice, but the sexy times were good and the groveling was delicious. I liked it.

This story was wonderful. Love can truly conquer all things. Louisa loved unselfishly this man for many years and finally in the end her heartfelt desire came true.

Louisa and Rafael's love was rocky at first but in the end very satisfying and beautiful. I swear at some points in the story I wanted to strangle Rafael but Louisa finally got him to admit what she knew...he loved her.

So Jennie Lucas needs to be slapped. The H of this story is horrid throughout the whole book to the h... I mean down right verbally abusive and the h just takes it. It's soooooo Wrong. The last few chapters the h tries to help H mend his relationship with his mom and the guy is sooo upset with her butting in he takes their baby son saying "you betrayed me therefore you will never see him again and all she was doing was trying to help. When H mom comes to him and explains his hatred towards her is stupid he all of a sudden realizes his wife was trying to help and is like OMG I love my wife. R u kidding me. h of course forgives H for all his horribleness but I was screaming at heroin to take her son and get out!

I loved it so much. All the inner struggle, hate and love, so M&B!! Actually hero was not a likeable man at all but I loved the way Louisa changed him into a good man. It was a real heart clenching story.
