This book was one of many holiday books I purchased but, I must say it was one of the best. A book that was difficult to put down. These books are easy read and just enough suspense.

Yuletide Sanctuary:
Seth Matthews is out for a jog when hehear's Lauren Curtis screaming. He rescues her from a madman, rescues her when her foot get's stuck, then takes her to the hospital. For her protection, he takes her to stay at his aunt's bed and breakfast but soon learns there's a madman out looking for her. This is a short story so there's not much depth to it. I still enjoyed the suspense. The romance was sweet, but I think the couple needed more time to get to know each other. Four stars

Christmas Target:
When CSI officer Maria Fuentes is "awarded" a prize date week by her male co-workers, she'd not too happy. The weatherman is the one who took her scholarship when she was in high school. But she soon learns that the guy she thought Ben Storm (interesting last name) was is actually not true. He's a loving man who happens to have someone trying to kill him - and he asks her to protect him.

The suspense was pretty good. I figure it out about the same time as Maria did. The romance was sweet. It seems the couple were engaged within a week of meeting, but then this is a romance so they can get away with that. Four Stars.
