What I really like about this book, which is unusual in most similar books I've read, is how much interaction there is between the characters in the context of the hospital (where they both work). It was great that both Tia and Luca were so fully realized as dedicated professional people who were good at what they do and to watch them getting to know each other beyond the usual "uncontrollable attraction".

This one is a sweet, gently paced story. There is the obligatory misunderstanding, but it's almost an afterthought. Read it for the character interaction and as a nice change of pace from the usual drama.

I liked this one. But there was a lot of medical terms and talk. Could have done without it.

Sarah Morgan never disappoints~ Tia is pregnant with the baby of Dr. Luca Zattoni and she runs away from him before they can be married. She believes he is in love with a Gorgeous Italian girl. Soon Luca tracks Tia down and decides she may not marry him but is is far from out of HER life~ Tia does not trust men so Luca not only has to prove he wants Tia and the BABY but gain her trust back. LUCA is excellent and will not take NO for the answser Tia keeps giving him for her love. a solid 10 for a hero WHO GIVES UP ALL HE HAS TO FOLLOW HIS WIFE TO BE AND THEIR UNBORN BABY~ MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SARAH MORGAN ROMANCE SO FAR AND IS A KEEPER IN EVERY SENSE~ I GIVE IT A SOLID 10 OUT OF 10 FOR hero and heroine we LOVE and great Doctor and Nurse romance.

This book was alright, nothing exceptional but not awful either. I actually really liked the hero, he wasn't overly aggressive or demanding like the hero's in these books usually are. The heroine could have used a bit more of a backbone, many of their problems could have been resolved if she'd just talked with the hero.

My main issue with this book was that it spent entirely to much time on medical issues that had nothing to do with the development between the hero and heroine. If I wanted to have the definition of a bunch of medical terms than I would invest in a text book. I wish the author would have spent more pages on the development of their relationship than on their jobs. Also, one more thing that bothered be was the overuse of the word bleep. I don't know if that's a common word in the UK or not but it was severely overused in this book.

This book is not meant to be read by any newly pregnant women. It is a collection of what can go wrong in pregnancy's. But if course let's add a little more drama and add a pregnant midwife who is afraid of commitment and children. All in all it was a fun read for an old woman. The angst was well written.

I agree with the review of It Was Alright. I thought I was reading a medical book on pregnant women and giving birth. It was entirely too much medical jargon for me. The only good thing in this book is the depiction and description of Luca Zattoni. He was to die for and the only thing that kept me reading. Tia acted and sounded like a little girl. She wanted things all her way without having any proof that Luca loved someone else. She only overheard a conversation and unlike most women confronted with a piece of news on the day of her wedding, instead of confronting him and asking for answers she runs off like a spoiled child. I am a fan of Sarah Morgan but this is one book I could have done without.

Good storyline and interesting characters. the medical jargon was a little distracting to the story but I guess it would appeal to readers with a medical background. at times it appeared that the medical backdrop took a backseat to the romance.

I found the heroine annoying. She is stubborn, refuses to communicate, is whiny, and, even though she knows better, will not take care of herself. Hero is somewhat better but also sucks at communication.

5.0 out of 5 stars An easy to love sarah morgan book

Easy to love characters, lets be honest, we know how the story will end but the journey along the way is great. Never read a book of Sarah Murphy's that I haven't totally loved and this one was no different.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Romance

This is a sweet romance. Both main characters were likeable, all drama of rage emotional variety once again came from inadequate communication. But I guess if the couples didn't start out with poor communication skills and learn to effectively communicate, there would be no book.

I really liked the main male character: Luca, it was obvious of his feelings even if Tia was blind to it.

This is a second read for me and I enjoyed this book more the second time around.

I do like a medical love story with this strong male character overcoming the emotional barriers and conflicts - and of course all comes well in the end.
