A doctor with secrets comes to work on a small Scottish island and falls for a local nurse in this medical romance from a USA Today–bestselling author.

Dr. Ethan Walker arrives on the remote Scottish island of Glenmore to spend one summer—and one summer only—as a temporary doctor at the island’s surgery. He is almost immediately attracted to nurse Kyla MacNeil, the heart of the island community. Ethan can’t reveal his real reason for being on the island, and although his head tells him he should stay away from Kyla, he is unable to resist their burning attraction.

As the long summer days begin to fade, Ethan starts to wonder whether he can walk away from the woman and the tranquil island that have captured his heart. . . .

Ethan's tight self-control hides a passionate nature. He's come to the island for a secret purpose. Kyla is a strong, open, vivacious, and passionate woman. The descriptions of the island, particularly during a storm, make it seem alive. As always, Sarah includes some interesting medical cases, too. This one is a keeper.

Fast action mixed with saucy caracters. One of the island novels that have continuity with Sarah Morgan's other Glenmore Island novels. Be sure to read all of them.

Sarah Morgan happens to be one of my favorite harlequin present authors. This was a touching story the heroine was a lively lady who loved what she did and where she lived.
I think for a nice romance< this I would give a 3 star rating. She has written spicy love scenes that were a lot better than this, but still the story was good.

Kyla lives on Glenmore and loves the island, she is one of the nurses and knows everyone on the island.

Evan is the new Locum doctor and has his secrets, Kyla thinks he comes from London and won't be around for long!!

Evan does have secrets and is not willing to share them with anyone until he is ready. Kayla nows there is an immediate attraction but doesn't trust Evan as he is not forth coming with his past.

Well written an easy going read with a good mix of characters on the island.
