Marriage on the Agenda Kindle Edition

4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 16 ratings

In love with a stranger?

When Loris Bergman attended a party to celebrate the merger of her father's company with Cosby's, a huge American corporation, she couldn't shake off the feeling that one of the men attending was familiar to her.

Jonathan Drummond insisted they were strangers! Despite his evasiveness about the role he played at Cosby's, a night spent with Jonathan convinced Loris that she loved him. But what, exactly, was on Jonathan's agenda? Marriage…or revenge?

This is one of my all time favorite books. I love the hero jonathan although im not so crazy about Loris. (really? Loris? what a stupid name) shes too wishy-washy for my tastes. that being said this book has jealousy passion and heart tugging moments. wonderful!

Jonathan Drummond initially was described as a shorter man and wimpy and that put me off him!!! As we all love a strong manly character and even though i did grow to like him in the end because he was witty and charming..this took some time because he was not like your normal hero. He was a P.A, worked for Loris's dad and was Poor!!! etc etc. You sort of know in the end he is going to be rich!!! Loris and Mark Longton were engaged, he was much older to her 24 years, At a party she meets Jonathan and dances with him because she is late and Mark ignores her and dances and kisses someone else!!! Also Jonathan was that boy/man who she had met when she was younger and Jonathan had fallen in love and knew she was the one for him. From then on Jonathan is trying to get Loris to realize that Mark is cheating, is a womanizer and has a small baby with someone else. Loris does not believe it and the whole story is just that, In the end she sees with her own eyes and ends it. I found this a bit boring and tried to stop myself skipping pages because Loris was a bit stupid really! and just a little repetitive!!
