Rafe Lombard our hero is good looking, rich, and he's in love with Maddy. In fact I find the beginning of this book a little crazy. Rafe meets Maddy in the clinic that she works in and waits outside for her because he wants to take her to dinner. I've been out with some pretty fast men but this guy took the cake and the whole oven too. Maddy was a bore in my opinion and if she'd been a New York City girl sh she would have been called a HO!! The dinner was barely over and they were in bed. I didn't care much for Rafe either because he didn't seem trust worthy and either was she. All through the beginning of this book I kept waiting for the shoe to fall and it did. Maddy was an ass, she just met, dated, and bedded this very rich man and at the first sign of trouble she leaves him. She never confronted him and asked if what she heard was true. She just let a perfectly rich white guy walk out of her life, and did I mention she was in love with him? Right ....So a year passes by and Maddy's been living and working in the United States. She dumps her current boyfriend (I can't remember his name) because she doesn't love him and she misses her friends and England. Her friend finds her a job as a live in therapist, for very good money, and a great neighborhood. Well surprise surprise it's Rafe's house and this part of the book is just creepy. He's acting all psycho and I start to think he's a nut job. This book was not terrible but it was far from great. I gave it three stars and recommend it if you run out of sleeping pills.

This book was entertaining and a decent read. I did not like the fact that both the hero and heroine kept important things from each other when their relationship had reached a point where they should have been shared. That was a little contrived in order to feed the conflict. Even so, I enjoyed it.
