BROTHER OF THE GROOMS

Just when Adam MacIntyre answered his true calling at last, putting down roots on his Colorado ranch, along came footloose Lisa Berthoff to turn things upside down. His siblings might have marched down the aisle with hers, but Adam wasn’t about to fall for a drifter who didn’t believe in God, or in settling down….

SISTER OF THE BRIDES

Lisa was the last of the sisters, and she was still single. After the recent break up of her boyfriend and what he had done to her she declared she would NEVER fall in love again! The fact that she had caught her sister's bouquet at the wedding in front of her sisters' brother-in-law Adam didn't mean anything...or did it?

A photo shoot on some awkward story that Adam didn't even know about is what sealed the deal. But Lisa didn't believe in promises any more. Adam had held to his pact about staying single, but for the first time he found himself no longer believing he was meant for singlehood...No, maybe he was meant to marry and have a family just like his brothers after all!

This was such a sweet story! Both Lisa and Adam were very happy to love. The fact that they were pretty secluded in his big guest ranch house that hadn't been opened yet made this story even more romantic. They had plenty of time to get to know each other - just the two of them! A fall through ice, a sudden blizzard, and several other mishaps would draw these two together. But the question that remained was could Lisa settle down? Would she always have to fly around the country? In the end, did it matter rather she could or not? When you've got love, anything can happen!

This is the final book int he series, and I applaud the author. Though I thought at first that the story line was a bit odd...reminded me of seven brides for seven brothers in a way...the author did a wonderful job in making everything work out. I fell in love with all these various characters and am a bit saddened that it's over! Unfortunately, there wasn't a forth set of siblings to marry off...

Defenitely reading these in order is better, but not necessary. I'm glad I did though - so no surprises were spoiled for me!

Lisa Berthoff had watched her two sisters marry two of the three MacIntyre men. Now they have a gleam in their eye as they look at Lisa and Adam. But Lisa and Adam have no intention of becoming anything "together". Not only would it be strange for three sisters to marry three brothers, both have been hurt and betrayed in previous relationships. Then Lisa (as a photojournalist) is given the assignment to do an article on the grand opening of a guest ranch "romantic getaway". Imagine her surprise when she finds out Adam is the owner. He wants nothing to do with the article. Lisa needs this article to obtain a full time job. As they work together toward the grand opening hearts begin to change. Will they be willing to take a chance on love?

This was a delightful story. Lisa was an energetic, spunky heroine who built a shell around her heart to keep from getting hurt. Adam was a very romantic hero. Strong yet tender. He could cook too! The family dynamics was really fun. This is book 3 in the MacIntyre series and it makes me want to go back and read the first two books. The story kept me turning pages to find out how it would all turn out.
