1.0 out of 5 stars a waste of time
my father was in no 1 sqdn from the beginning of 1940 until they returned to the uk at tangmere, this book touches none of this period other than what he has copied from Paul days book fighter pilot even the photos are copied from that book. This was undoubtably the squadrons finest hour yet there is no mention of the nco pilots at all and how they had to live in trenches around the airport while being bombed nightly while the officers lived it up in a chateau miles away, it makes no mention either of the officers claiming a/c shot down by the nco pilots etc etc etc
