- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2012This book was required reading when I was a cadet at the Citadel in Larry Addington's class called, Patterns of Warfare. Same title, same book, same ugh. I only remember some of the class, as, sad to say, it and the book were both dull and pedantic. There is little to learn here that is either new or useful. Since it was published there have been hundreds of excellent books on WWII and there is NO reason to bother with reading this. Look elsewhere.
