Can passion in paradise become a forever love?

Sasha Winters has it all planned. She'll spend two days—exactly forty-eight hours—in the Bahamas for her sister's wedding. Then it's back to her hectic life as a lawyer on the fast track to partner. But when a storm strands her on an exotic island, Sasha's suddenly giving in to her sensual side and making moonlit magic with Vince Sullivan, a man she barely knows.

The groom's best man, Vince, hasn't given up on finding that special someone. It could be Sasha—if she'd allow herself to feel the full force of their chemistry. Determined to liberate the passionate woman behind the workaholic Atlanta attorney, Vince storms every last one of Sasha's defenses. Yet can their growing love survive, even as a crisis forces Sasha to choose between her lifelong ambitions and a lifetime of love?

I had the good fortune to meet Monica McKayhan at the book launch for Tropical Fantasy held at the Sweet Rose Café in Arlington TX. Ms. Mckayhan did a reading which really peaked my interest and I immediately pre-ordered the book for my kindle. That was $4.31 well spent.

Tropical Fantasy tells the sorry of opposites Sasha, a seemingly uptight lawyer fretting over becoming partner, and Vince, a dentist whose approach to life and work is more personal. Their paths cross at a Bahaman destination wedding where Vince entices Sasha to let her hair down. This book is a realistic romance that was captivating from start to finish. It's not perfect and the pacing could be more brisk, but for a first time romance writer, Tropical Fantasy makes a good debut. I'm not usually a fan of conventional romance novels however this book has converted me to at least be a fan of Monica McKayhan`s works. I hope to see more from her soon.

P.S. Regarding the use of the word "ingression": one should never need a dictionary when reading a romance novel. Just saying.

It took me a week to read this book because I just couldn't get into it. The only reason why I finished it is because I paid for it. It started out pretty good but the middle and ending were boring! Don't waste your time or money ladies!

I enjoyed reading this book; this is the first time I have read anything by Monica McKayhan.
Sasha who is trying to make partner in one of the top notch law firm in Atlanta is not exactly happy to in the Bahamas to attend her sister wedding. Once the wedding is over Sasha will be on a plane. With a storm coming it doesn't look like she will be leaving the island any time soon, so what a woman to do............ As Sasha is strained on the island she decided to have a little fun and walk on the wild side.

Vince Sullivan is a hard working Dentist, he is a people person and loves life, he hasn't given on finding that special someone and he thinks he has found her if he could just break down the wall Sasha has put up.

Vince and Sasha embark on a romance where they fall helpless in love with each other. You will see the obstacles they over come in there relationship. Sasha makes a bold move in her career and the thing l like about Vince is that when he makes mistakes he goes about making it right.
