A great, short romance. Nothing was missing, except miles and miles of endless, needless details writers often use to pad the story.
This one didn't have them, and didn't them.
Just a quick, to the point romance, that didn't feel rushed. Few books I read, I would want to read a second time. With this one being so short, yet so entertaining, I would read it again.

It was an alright read. Good for a distraction but if you are looking for something to sink in to this is not the book for you. If this had been a full novel it would have been really great. It had a good plot, and good characters but the book lacked depth, so light reading for distraction.

This is a short read with a happy ending so to some that may feel like you are being rushed through the plot to the end. I like the characters eventhough there isnt much we really know about them other than a few details about childhood. The sequence of events was nice and the chemistry sure was believable. An easy read for any romance lover. It was short and I wish I could give it 3.5 stars but I guess it gets a 4.

Great read, though short. Recommend to all those whom look for happily ever after. I would love to follow these stories in sequels.

The author tried to imply that Shannon was a strong willed woman, who had real backbone and the ability to scrap with just about anyone, including the men in the Cattle Ranchers Association. I didn't see her that way at all. In fact; I saw quite the opposite, and I'll explain why....

A strong woman wouldn't have resorted hiding in her truck just to avoid running into Rory. She would have strutted herself across the street, without giving him so much as a passing glance.

A strong woman would have confronted him head on when she spotted him following her home, and threatened to call the authorities on him for trespassing onto her property uninvited if he didn't turn around immediately and leave.

.A strong woman wouldn't have even let him into her house, little lone let him into her bed.

A strong woman would have refused the car he sent for her that night.

No, as far as I'm concerned..... Shannon was sniveling coward when it came to Rory. She was a very weak woman without a trace of backbone what so ever!

Rory wasn't all that, either. He never bothered to ask her anything, he just told her what to do. No self respecting woman--- and especially one that was suppose to be so strong-willed--- would ever put up with his demanding ways. Never!

I didn't buy the strong attraction, or the love connection, either. The characters had no depth what so ever, and there really wasn't any real story line to speak of. I don't even know how anyone could even consider this a story. It was made up of 3 very short chapters, and that's all!

I would NOT recommend this book to anyone.

Very nice easy story. TOO SHORT. I didn't notice until the story ended before really starting. However, this story was good.

Very interesting read. Good or the women of the world who are able to get their feet in the good old boys clubs. I have kept a record of this author's name & will be looking for other books by he. This was a very easy book to not put down because you wanted to know how the ending was going to be.
