Editorial Reviews

Review

"It was really good watching Anna and Blaine's relationship evolve into something a little more traditional. And Blaine learning to let go a little was a lot of fun to read. Now the question is, can he let go enough to let her into his heart or will their love not get off the starting block. I honestly cannot wait to find out." - The Jeep Diva

"These books are so hot, like drooling for days hot! It has been awhile since a series has sucked me in and taken me on such a sexy wild ride, but The Seen Trilogy certainly did!"
- Falling In Fall

"This book is hot and explosive. Each time they are together is even hotter than the last and you just hope that it will get even steamier if there was any way it could get that way."
- Romancing The Book

"I have decided I like these little sexy reads that I can put away in about an hour. They give me lots sexy times, emotional attachment and keeps me wanting to know what will happen." -

From the Author

He Touches Me is the second story in The Seen Trilogy.
The first story is He Watches Me.
The third story is He Claims Me.

Although The Seen Trilogy is a serial, each novella has a beginning and an ending.
There are no cliffhangers!
However, I do recommend that these stories are read in order.

I've written two more stories set in the same world as The Seen Trilogy.

Flashes of Me releases February 18th and is the romance between Henley, Blaine Technologies' big, scarred, scary head of cyber security and Kat Volkov, the niece of Mr. Volkov.

Breaking All The Rules releases April 1st and is the romance between Camille aka Goth girl and Nathan Lawford, Blaine Technologies' notoriously uptight Chief Financial Officer.

Cynthia Sax scores a huge hit with her compelling erotic romance series, The Seen Trilogy. The Seen Trilogy consists of three novellas: He Watches Me, He Touches Me, and He Claims Me. Each novella is approximately one hundred pages, and Avon Impulse released the series as serial, each book coming out one week after the other. I must say that I was very pleased that Avon Impulse released them in this manner as I’ve become disappointed with serial stories that span over many months. Since I read all three of these novellas in one sitting, I’m going to review them as a whole. Sax pulls the reader into these stories by telling them through Anna Sampson’s eyes.

Housesitting in a neighborhood beyond her means, Anna hopes to remain invisible because her father’s prison record follows her wherever she goes. To remain invisible to others, Anna expends a lot of energy with the way she acts and how she dresses. Her survival mechanism leaves her empty inside and lonely, which just made my heart hurt for her. For weeks, Anna has been indulging in midnight swims and other erotic activity in her neighbor’s pool only to discover that homeowner, Gabriel Blaine, has been watching her. Discovering Blaine has been watching her doesn’t upset Anna; actually, she is really turned on by it. Since she has never met Blaine, Anna is fine with him watching as long as he doesn’t touch. As their relationship progresses, the sexual attraction between Anna and Blaine is off the charts. Their sexual encounters are sensual and scorching hot. Blaine knows that Anna likes—to be watched during these encounters—and makes sure that she feels absolutely safe, which is another reason to just love him. Blaine sees Anna’s beauty and the wonderfully strong woman underneath, which endeared his character to me. Anna comes alive with Blaine when she finally sees herself through someone else’s eyes. This journey of self-discovery is a wonderful thing to witness.

Furthermore, Sax masterfully develops a wonderful friendship with Goth Girl, Camille, a girl at the charity where Anna works. Watching Anna develop a friendship with Camille and a relationship with Blaine while simultaneously learning that relationships should be cherished, fought for, and defended brought a huge smile to my face.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed Anna and Blaine’s relationship, one of my favorite aspects of this series was the moth metaphor that is intertwined throughout this series, adding depth to this erotic romance. Anna really is like a moth, active at night, not as colorful as the moth’s butterfly counterpart, but beautiful in her own way, strong but yet delicate.

An engrossing story line with an alluring couple make The Seen Trilogy a must read for lovers of erotic romance! Thanks to the success of The Seen Trilogy, Sax will write additional stories with characters we’ve met in the series. I admit I’m looking forward to reading these future stories too.

"He Touches Me" by Cynthia Sax is the second searingly sensual novella in the `Seen' trilogy. The complex relationship between the sexually daring virgin and her extremely rich temporary neighbor continues to evolve as he continues to explore both her emotional and physical limits. Conflicted between trying to do what's best for her and what he desires, Gabriel Blaine must deal with Anna's own determination to follow her own path. Anna's relationships at work also evolve and cause a shift in the dynamics there as well and her life continues to be full of surprises and changes.

This very erotic sequel to the spicy novella, "He Watches Me" follows the journey of a young woman who is an interesting dichotomy of siren and innocent. The exploration of her sexual limits provides a very carnal tale which also begins to give better depth to the various characters as more of their backgrounds are revealed. Anna continues to grow into her role as employee and lover even as more mysteries unfold. An intriguing addition to the series.

I'm ready for the next book to see how this series ends. To me, this one had too much of Anna, and not enough Blaine. And there were some parts I just didn't get. She's apparently extremely poor and has utilities to pay which will leave her no money for food or bus transportation to get to work. She needs a second job, so Blaine arranges her an interview with his secretary to be her assistant. However Anna gets caught in the rain and decides she can't go to the interview. I mean WTH. She has no money for food! But the kicker is, she wanted to cancel because her blouse is see through and someone will see her. Okay!!! I guess I could see her being embarrassed and shy, but then she is calling Blaine from downstairs ..... in the friggin rain where she's whirling around and dancing getting more wet. But wait.... now she's fantasizing about men watching her while they get off because they can see her wet shirt. I mean, she'll dance wet in a public park where she wants men gawking at her, but was afraid to see Blaine's Secretary. Thank goodness Blaine brings her a towel and tells her not worry. He then gives her his jacket so she can go meet his secretary. At least Blaine knows what's important.

I like Blaine's character a lot. He obviously had a difficult past and he's crazy about Anna. I still don't get why she continues to flirt with Michael when she likes Blaine. This girl cannot be as stupid as she sometimes acts. But overall the book was good, and I've come this far so I'm going to read the conclusion.

Book Two in the Seen Trilogy, He Touches Me....is off the chart hot~~ I needed a fan...and it is in the twenties tonight!!! This book continues the growing relationship between reclusive billionaire Gabriel Blaine and the lonely and shy Anna Sampson. I will tell you up front....I had constant hot flashes as I read this book...even more than in book one.....I am now going to start on book Three...He Claims Me. I encourage those readers who love erotica written in a loving relationship to get this series....you will be glad you did. I once again thank Cynthia Sax for writing the kind of books for adults that are achingly touching and sensually spellbinding. Highly Recommended!

At first it seemed like she was having illusions of this man, Blaine, but it feels like an almost sad, haunting love story. Maybe the final book will have a lovely final story

I felt it was a take off of the Gray books. Virgin girl rich guy, dirty language. I was not a long story which disappointed me and I felt it was too similar. Surprised she was not sued for plagerism.
