4.8 out of 5 stars 58 ratings

Since its debut in 1979, For Better or For Worse has touched comic strip readers as few cartoons ever do. Lynn Johnston's eye for detail and her uncanny sense of what real parents and children struggle with daily are a big part of her success. The comic strip now appears in 1,550 papers in the U.S. and Canada. Read by people of all ages, the award-winning For Better or For Worse deals honestly with both the light-hearted and the serious, and to many readers, the Pattersons feel like family!

5.0 out of 5 stars The 4th Treasury Reviewed
Reviewed in Canada on May 17, 2014
While I was sad to find that the treasuries are now going to only be this length unlike the first two, which were twice as long, I could't find fault with this collection. Lynn Johnston has many little stories added throughout the pages that add to the comic strip. And I loved returning the the Patterson family to see Michael and Elizabeth grow. It's a brilliant collection and as I preordered it, I have to say I was very happy with the prompt delivery and condition I received it in.

Love the series, and love the treasuries. I've seen people complaining that the new treasuries are too small. I can say that my carpally-tunnelly hands really appreciate the smaller size. I haven't re-read the first & second treasuries since receiving them last year because they are just too big & heavy. These new ones are just right
