Julia Dweck is a published author of children's books for digital and print publication. Her stories span the spectrum of humor, fantasy and edutainment in rhyme and in prose.

Julia's background in elementary education affords her the opportunity to be in touch with what children want to read and what makes them giggle. She's collaborated with leading illustrators in the world of children's literature to produce over 30 books. In her spare time, Julia is a designer of educational adjuncts for children's literature, and has worked with such notable publishing houses as Penguin Young Readers. She presented at the 2012 National Center for Family Literacy for her creative use of technology in the classroom.

    If you have never read this author your children are missing out. She has wonderful children's books. I read these to my grandchildren and they love all of her books, stories are fun and they enjoy the pictures

    When a barrel full of monkeys comes out to play, they have all kinds of adventures. Monkey Fun is a wonderful story of how adventurous young monkeys can be. This adorable story is full of funtastic illustrations and easy to read rhymes that keep young pre-readers and readers engaged from beginning to the very end. It also includes some great monkey facts mixed in with monkey fun and frivolity.

    Another favorite of my youngest - Lydia. She absolutely loves author Julia Dweck's ebooks and repeatedly
    asks to read them over and over on the Kindle or iPad. Although her very favorite way to read them is sitting on my lap while we read it together on my Laptop.

    I personally love how fun and unique this story is and how much it mixes some fun facts with funny, easy to remember rhymes. I also enjoy being able to read these great ebooks on the go with my kids and even have entertained other little ones with similar ebooks on the go. Ebooks make wonderful gifts, and Monkey Fun is a great addition to any ebook library!

    This book was so much fun to read and it kept me laughing and smiling even after reading it. My 14 month old niece even got a kick out of the story, but I think the pictures where her favorite. The pictures are so vibrant and full of color that this story will sure keep a child of any age entertained and we had to read it again. I truly remarkable and cute story for the whole family to enjoy! This author is always amazing me with her children's books and I REALLY fell in love with this story and it's another of my favorites! A RECOMMENDED MUST READ!

    Monkey Fun is a playful tale told in rhyme which is sure to amuse the littlest "monkeys" in your family.

    Toddlers will learn fun and educational facts, like where the monkeys live, what they eat, and how their mothers' care for them, all while being entertained by adorable monkeys. At the end of the story little ones are introduced to numbers 1-10 and are given additional information about the facts learned in the story.

    Monkey Fun has vividly detailed illustrations that depict the monkeys in an eye-catching manner and captures all the monkeying around that little readers will love.

    I highly recommend picking up Monkey Fun.

    What a FUN book!

    Pull the monkeys out of the barrel and let's see what we can learn about them!

    Find out what monkeys do...

    Where they live...

    And what they eat...

    An AMAZING way to teach a small child...although I actually learned something today :)

    Told in Julia Dweck fashion and illustrated to keep interest, this book is one you will want to own!

    And as always...this book is "edutaining" with facts and a fun counting game at the end.

    If t here is one author who's book SHOULD be in your children's library it's Julia Dweck. I've read several of her books and Monkey Fun is another super book in her collection. Your child can learn fun facts,about monkeys while enjoying the delightful illustrations. As always there are some great extras at the end of the book to keep the fun and learning going after the story has ended
