    I picked this book up because I have a garage I need to clean out. I'm not sure where to start...and this book helped. Rather than just start off telling me how and where to put stuff, the author started off by asking questions. I found that very helpful. It clarified what I was trying to achieve with the space and by clearing it. It also gave me some pointers to help me when clearing and organizing other, more intimate and less practical spaces. Everything about a garage was covered but what I really appreciated was help with organizing my van. I often spend more time in it than my home and yet I would never allow my home to be in such a state. I now have a highly organized space on wheels which I maintain while pumping gas!

    People that have just bought a house would benefit from this book. Great ideas that give you different options on storage from storing the kids toys to organizing your tools. It also gives ideas for how to organize your car! A very basic book for people that have never organised anything. This book is a definite no for someone who has been doing it for a while.

    I dont own a garage (we had one in our previous home and I wish I wish I had this book at hand then to help me organise our garage!) however I have a garden shed and its overflowing and packed with everything from the kitchen sink and beyond! Despite this I am able to apply the info from "Simple Garage Organizing" to decluttering and organising our garden shed. Still have a long way to go but at least i have a road map and practical ideas and system to follow to clear and start over again. A definitive guide for all householders, especially busy families with loads of stuff who are looking for simple ways to declutter and streamline thier garage space.
