The story is well-written and keeps your attention throughout. The plot continues to thicken and draws the reader to continue. It contains the key elements of a good read, good vs evil, with good prevailing in the end. The protagonist characters have their own moral faults which makes the story more realistic. I like the way the author has woven the history into the fiction and ties up all loose ends of the characters' pasts. One improvement would be to tone down the sexual primitivity of the Alpha male characters. The way they are portrayed sometimes is almost bestial, with no sexual self-control where women are concerned, and seems a bit exaggerated. All in all though this is a good book!
