While I am normally not into "boy's own" stories, I did like this one.

It had some twists- all the main characters were rather ambiguous- sleazy sometimes, and reliable other times.

The action was definitely fun! It kept me guessing, and turning the pages.

I was also an interesting take of the Middle East many years ago- which informs it now. All the various national, tribal and sect issues continue today, and continue to cuase problems.
