Sometimes love comes when you least expect it . . .

Between her career and raising her sister’s orphaned little boys, industrial-planning consultant Jan Harper doesn’t have time for romance. Famous last words. From the moment she meets tall, dark, swoon-worthy Kevin Toliver, she is in danger of losing the one thing she swore never again to give: her heart.

When he walked into the boardroom of Toliver, Inc., Kevin was expecting a man—not a wholesome beauty with painful memories. But the New York entrepreneur is quickly drawn to Jan, even following her back to Pleasant Valley, Colorado, to offer the promotion of a lifetime. Try as she might, Jan can’t deny the powerful attraction between them. Can Kevin help her move beyond the secrets of her past and find that special place where love can thrive and bloom?

Recipient of the Washington Romance Writers’ Outstanding Achievement Award.

This ebook features an extended biography of Mary Kay McComas.

Mary Kay McComas was raised in the Great Pacific Northwest city of Spokane, Washington. Third of six children. Mary Kay went to college, and for ten years after that she worked as an intensive care nurse in a hospital.

Then she met her future husband, a lawyer, and her Prince Charming. The couple moved to the Shenandoah Valley in Northern Virginia, and raised four wonderful children.

After Mary Kay's children came along she didn't think things could get any better. But guess what, they did! On a dare from her husband to "write a better novel than that," Mary Kay took a stab at writing something longer than a letter and more fun than a college term paper.

It was not Mary Kay's intention to start a third career as a writer. However, as luck would have it, she was fortunate enough to find an encouraging agent and helpful, supportive editors. She hopes her stories will bring a little happiness into your life!

At their first meeting, Jan Harper, an industrial site planning consultant, and Kevin Toliver, owner of Toliver, Inc., sparked instant chemistry. Thus, begins the book, "Someday, Somewhere". From beginning to end, this book is written with passion and humor as it's focal point. Jan and Kevin's relationship is so real, you expect them to walk off the pages of the book and into the "real world". Mary Kay has a passionate scene in the book where Jan, thinking she's dreaming, literally eyes Kevin from top to bottom, and bottom to top. The description of this moment is so hot, I expected my book to burst into flames. Their relationship is not without a couple of rocky moments. One, Jan's relationship with her father, and the other, the fact that Kevin is in New York, and Jan is in Colorado. Mary Kay's description of love "trust, affection, admiration, devotion, unselfish concern, acceptance, loyalty, passion"...had this faithful reader in tears. What a moment in the book when Jan realized that's how Kevin felt about her. Trust me, you won't regret giving this book a read.
