I Knead My Mommy: And Other Poems by Kittens Kindle Edition
Just when we all thought things couldn’t get any cuter comes a book of confessional poems about the triumphs, trials, and daily discoveries of being a kitten. From climbing walls to claiming hearts, these little cats bare all in such instant classics as “And Then You Said ‘No,’” “Ode to a Lizard I Didn’t Know Is Also a Pet in This House,” and “I Will Save You.” With adorable photos of the poetic prodigies throughout, this volume gives readers a glimpse into their confused and curious feline minds as they encounter the world around them.

About the author

Francesco Marciuliano is writing his own bio in the third person either in an attempt to convince you he somehow possesses the clout to attract his own Boswell-like biographer or because he has suffered a complete nervous breakdown and has convinced himself he actually hired a writer with a strikingly similar name.
Francesco is the author of the #1 New York Times Bestseller "I Could Pee on This and Other Poems by Cats." He is also the writer of the comic strips "Sally Forth" and "Judge Parker" and as head writer for the PBS series "SeeMore’s Playhouse" won two 2007 Daytime Emmys. Francesco has written for the Onion News Network, Smosh, McSweeney’s, and had a play produced at the New York International Fringe Festival. His other books include "I Could Chew on This and Other Poems by Dogs," "Claw the System: Poems from the Cat Uprising," "You Need More Sleep: Advice from Cats," "I Knead My Mommy and Other Poems by Kittens," "I Could Pee on This, Too" and the brand new "All Cats Are Introverts."
Francesco Marciuliano is available for viewing Monday-Saturday, 9AM to 5PM (closed on Sundays and holidays, including ones he just made up). Please inquire about group-rate discounts as well as the audio tour guide inside his head.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2015I Knead My Mommy: And Other Poems takes a look at the wide wonderful world through the eyes of one of nature's finest and cutest creations – the kitten. Universally adored for their energetic and affectionate dispositions these lovable balls of fluff share their views on life for the very first time, and in verse no less.
These poems will tickle your funny bone and your heart making you laugh and wince in equal measure. I Knead My Mommy does a wonderful job capturing both the joys and frustrations of being a pet parent. Cat owners will be reminded of their own experiences. When I was reading, I couldn't help but smile as I thought, “Oh Eben does that.....Mao did that..” and so on.
I Knead My Mommy: And Other Poems is a book that any cat lover will treasure. It is a book that will leave a smile on your face and laughter in your heart.

Francesco Marciuliano knows how to capture the spirit of a kitten: confused, adventurous, impish, brave, frightened, gleeful, entertaining. The poems are delightful, witty and very kittenish. One is rather touching, and rightfully so, and most had me laughing out loud and reading the poems to my husband, who laughed as well (and he swears he's not a cat guy).
If you like cats and kittens, this book will delight you. Now I must read its predecessor. Thank you, Mr. Marciuliano!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2016This was such an adorable book! Cat owners and cat aficionados alike will see their own kittens and cats in these delightful poems. I loved all of them.
You should be aware that the print was a bit small in the Kindle version. (I was viewing it on my 6" Kindle, though.) I was unable to enlarge the text. If print size is a concern, I would recommend that you get the print copy rather than the Kindle version. But I do recommend this book!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2014I don't know how Francesco does it, but his poetry captures the soul of the kitten: the cuteness, the silliness, the confusion, and yes, sometimes even the sadness of a tiny creature confronted by a great big world--all of which is for climbing on. It's the literary equivalent of watching cat videos on YouTube, without all the pesky bandwidth issues. You'll find yourself reading the poems out loud to anyone in earshot, which could be a drawback in public places, but once people stop staring at you, they'll be laughing with you. I will be purchasing multiple copies of this book, because I always give away my own copy while telling people about it. Do yourself a favor and get this book.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2017this is so charming that I had to loan it out to my Aunt and Mother. I just love that F. Marciuliano writes from the purrspective of kittens. So sweet.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2015I thought it was a kids book but they are weird poems. But it's funny and cute.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2014I loved this book! I have read all three in the series and this one is my favorite. It certainly captures the nature of kittens and I found myself laughing out loud. Of course, I couldn't laugh too loudly as my cat was snoozing on my lap as I was reading, and I didn't dare to waken him!!! The pictures were adorable and the poems were good. There was one about an older cat who is no longer there that was quite touching.

2.0 out of 5 stars Libro enviado sin cubierta
