- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2015I started to read this novel while I was stuck in bed due to a virus. My head ached, my nose ran and I soon forgot my sniffles because the simplicity of a beautiful love story was my focus. Steel, the hero, knew from the beginning that he had found his soul mate with the widow, Toni. Our heroine had been a widow for only 4 months and was trying to pick up the pieces of an unhappy marriage that left her with a great amount of debt. She had a quiet strength about her but the marriage had taken every bit of trust in relationships from her. Our hero recognizes this. He hires her and then patiently works to undo her trust issues by gently proving himself as a friend. This is a simple love story, no sex scenes, no drama, just an in depth look at love. It is gentle and I loved it ( and I usually like the sex scenes). This book was perfect on a day where I felt miserable. It made me feel better!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2015I liked the changing POV on this book. I think the hero's story was just as important as the heroine's. Overall, a very good story with lots of dramatic emotional pull. The little girls were just darling and the epilogue was satisfying. All in all, a worthwhile book.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2014This story held me captive from beginning to end. I felt drawn into the lives of the major characters. As their individual pasts and feelings were explained, I watched a wonderful romance develop. This was a Romance that could stand on its own two feet; didn't rely on passionate love scenes to keep the reader interested.
I look forward to more books by this author; definitely worth this readers time.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2015A sweet read. Consistent with the other reviews. Liked the characters. No real drama. I found that the h over reacted at the end, when his ex sent flowers to his sister. His ex was just manipulating the situation. She should have seen through that. They were separated for months because of that.

I liked the epilogue the best. Classic fairytale HEA…
- Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2015So refreshing to have an alpha hero who was not afraid to be humbled in love. The H's "closing" argument was so persuasively and beautifully done. The h was drastically insecure and so distrustful I was almost afraid there will be no hea but she came through, they both did. And the best part is the epilogue, the ten years really cemented it for me. What a very satisfying end.
Very, very well done.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2015I enjoy this author's books even though they are mostly predictable. That doesn't really matter because her storylines are realistic. She didn't disappoint me with this one either. The main characters have great chemistry, interesting dialogue and the storyline is believable. I will definitely read this one again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great
I found this a really good book. A great connection between Toni, Steel and the twins. A great romance for a woman whom had her heart broken by her husband. It takes Steel quite a bit of time to break down Toni's barriers but it's worth it in the end.

4.0 out of 5 stars entre 3.5 y 4 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars a nice romance story
Yes he's a rich tycoon and yes she's been hurt in the past. But for once, a story that doesn't have revenge or hatered as it's main storyline. Both characters are believeable, the twins are cute, and there is chemistry from page one between the main characters. A true romance book and enjoyable.

5.0 out of 5 stars very sweet
A lovely sweet romance, perfect for a holiday short light read with a good feel happy ending with nothing too overboard in it. Wonderful also to curl up to by the fire! Loved it
