    Sabina Grey convinced herself that the life she was leading was the one she had to fulfill. She had to keep her shop running, had to ensure her parents were happy, and most of all had to take care of her sister to atone for her adolescent misdeed. But Sabina saw the life she was going to lead once her sister was married to Ross Gardiner the local Fire Chief and all around perfect man. He was patient, kind, attentive, and belonged to her sister which she had to keep reminding herself.

    For Sabina staying away from Ross was impossible and not having a sense of loss every time he left with her sister was painful. The shock is seemed was Ross even though he denied it felt the same way but because he was a good guy would not allow himself to falter or give in to his feelings. When a fire burns down a newly developed subdivision and Ross steps in to help resolve the questions surrounding it the gaps in what a relationship is and what it should be become apparent. The woman he is supposed to love is not the woman he is attracted to and the stress of seeing the problems and unable to resolve them, painful beyond words.

    Can Sabina and Ross hurt the ones who love them to be together, will they destroy lives to obtain personal happiness, or will the destiny of one prediction make everything okay?

    A wonderful addition to the Last Chance series.

    How far would you go for your sisters happiness? Enough to give up the man of your (secret) dreams?

    How long do you carry guilt? How far would you go to protect a loved one?

    These are questions Sabrina has to consider as the Town matchmaker and local gossip committee throw her life into chaos. Throw in a hot fireman (no pun intended), budget cuts, a fire bug, whiney spoiled diva sister, a twisted teen age nerd with a long grudge and you've got a great story line.

    Love the town of Last Chance and can't wait for more.

    It was okay, sweet. Something happened in the past that the heroine believes she must atone for, however, it was never clear what exactly happened. By trying to step around and not reveal anything, things that didn't need to get muddy got dirty and the big reveal got an eye roll. I had figured out who was causing the issues within the first quarter of the book and the reveal wasn't as major as it seemed Ms. Ramsay was going for and I was really hoping for more on the reveal.
