An excellent, well presented guide to the BEF's retreat from Mons. This book is an ideal companion to a visit to the area the BEF were initially engaged in. Well written and informative with historical context and easy to read and follow maps and way points. I will be using this book, hand in hand with Jerry's other book - "Retreat and Rearguard 1914 - The BEF's actions from Mons to the Marne - on my next Battlefield Recce in October. An excellen book.
