With more than 10 million copies of my books in print worldwide (Isn't that wild?), I'm an award winning and USA Today bestselling author with over 90 published books. My stories have been translated for sale all over the world and after a long career in traditional publishing, I've gone indie. I am loving the freedom to write the stories both me and my readers enjoy the most. My new mafia romance series, Syndicate Rules features the morally gray alpha heroes and spice I love to write. I write contemporary, historical and paranormal romance. Some of my books have action adventure and intrigue. All of them are spicy and deeply emotional. I'm a voracious reader and love to talk about both my books and those I've read (or should read...good recs are always welcome) on social media. Welcome to my world where love conquers all, but not easily!

This was super good. I just wish the identity of the unborn baby's daddy could have been figured out so it did not seem like the hero's and heroine's future children would be a replacement. It was sad to see the heroine go through what she did. I do believe that 7 years before, when the hero and heroine first met, if it was not his cousin she was married to, he would have "stolen" her from her husband. They fell in love that night on first look and you can tell he is doing all this blackmail to get her with him. I do think that him feeling the way he did and seeing her again should have been a clue that she was not the heartless woman that his cousin portrayed. How can you claim to love someone if you think they are evil? I think his mind let him think this because he could not help her so he chose to make her a blind spot!?! Does that make any sense? Anyways, this was a good story and I am glad I read it!

Leiandros spots Savannah at a party and is drawn to her, so much so that he puts the moves on her. She pushes him away and says she's married - however she did get in to the kiss some, too. Then Dion comes upon them and introduces her as his wife! Leiandros never truly got over her, but he believes all the stories his cousin, Dion, told about her over the years. They aren't nice little stories either and since no one really sees her they are all believed! Now Dion and Leiandros' pregnant wife have died in a car accident. Leiandros has been appointed guardian of his cousin's two children and he sees a way to get Savannah right where he wants her. Honestly, Leiandros really didn't respect Savannah and she calls him on that, but he tries to justify things by the way she had acted in the past. I thought it was nice that she did call him on it. Just as she further asks him where all his evidence of her infidelities is....no true explanation from Leiandros because he only went buy liar's word.

There was a lot of angst involved in this story for me. Leiandros wasn't nice to her, but then he bought what his cousin sold about Savannah and it all seemed plausible. So Leiandros is seeking justice for all the wrongs he believed Savannah had committed towards him and his family. It really was a warped way to get revenge, yet strangely intriguing and I was caught up in it to see where it would go. I also wondered how he would react when he finally learned the truth.

I also liked that there were little things to explain why some weren't admitting things in the story so that Leiandros knew the truth. I felt like Leiandros was truly blind in the situation perhaps wanting to believe the worst of Savannah rather than facing the fact that he coveted his cousin's wife! Dion sounded like a compulsive liar, yet no one ever questioned what he said. Savannah has to be forgiving and generous in order for things to work out well in this story. The fact that she could have fought more is brought to mind, but I think she truly wanted to be w/ Leiandros too! Leiandros treated the whole thing like he would a business acquisition and it showed so well. I didn't like Leiandros' double standard on family though either. It seemed that it meant everything to him, but only if they were directly his family. Old aunt suffering from dementia that can't remember anyone....she doesn't count because she can't remember you anyway even though you can remember her!

I, of course, doubt that Leiandros would have remained faithful to his wife had she lived and Dion died even though Savannah placates him by claiming he would and he lets her. I suspect that Dion was playing a game w/ his cousin's wife and perhaps is the father of her unborn child. Maybe Dion was coming clean to Savannah the night before because he and Leiandros' wife were planning on getting together. Dion only EVER wanted a son and she was pregnant w/ a boy....so.....it sounded plausible to me, but in the story it is never really revealed. Perhaps Savannah didn't want to tarnish his memory of his cousin any more than she had too, because she could have done that earlier on in the story.

I bought this in paperback when it first came out and I knew when I got my kindle that this had to go on it. I love the main characters so much. I mean they attraction was instant even though Savannah was married to his cousin at the time. Flash forward years later and she still feels the tug on her emotions. When they are both left widowed, Leiandros sets in motion a plan to secure Savannah in his bed and life. Of course Savannah, fights him because she has already lived through one bad marriage to a Greek so she didn't want another one. The only problem everyone is against her leaving Greece even her little daughters so Leiandros sets out to steal her heart. Savannah can only fight so long so its a joy to watch as these two fall in love. I can't tell you how many times I have read this book and I would recommend everyone read this one.

she fled her abusive husband and was raising their two daughters alone when he died in the same car accident that killed the wife and unborn child of his cousin. sounds bad, doesn't it? moving right along, the cousin blackmails her to return and marry him. sounds like he is really really mad because he kissed her before he knew she was married to his cousin...err, because his cousin lied about her...its a nice enough read, no great angst but no major horrors either. the hero comes off as kind of sweet for a vindictive type-he says she owes him, then does sweet things for her.

I have a weakness for Greek From romance. I'm not sure why because I find it archaic. This one really stirred my heart and am glad for the way it ended. Machismo and brutality together is terrible and shows the true faults of such a man, but to have an alpha who also understands and shows love and tenderness is a true blessing for all involved.

Savannah is the widow of Dion Kiriakis and has three young daughters. She has returned to Greece to make peace with the family and it's head, Leiandros Kiriakis. Dion was killed in a car accident along with Leionadis' young pregnant wife. During the course of their marriage Savannah and her daughters were shunned because of Dion's lies about them to his family. In reality he was an abusive husband (Savannah had documented proof and was planning to divorce him) who wanted sons and not daughters , not to leave out his numerous infidelities. Leiandros is given joint guardianship of Dion's children in the latter's will which stuns Savannah. She is forced to relocate to Greece and live among the relatives who hate her and the children( they believe the girls are not Dion's legitimate children) and Savannah is attracted to Leiandros, who has his own secrets. All in all a pretty good book.

I loved the well developed characters and interesting story line.

Both the H and h are strong, yet vulnerable, you could feel their chemistry.

This book was a delight to read. The main characters were interesting, strong and believable. Although the book is centred around blackmail and distrust; the overwhelming foundation of love is there and the main male character is a dream.
I really enjoyed a good old fashioned Mills and Boon type story. I would class it as a light read; to give you a few hours away from reality. Make yourself a cuppa, grab a packet of biscuits and get comfy. Then enjoy.

She has avoided an abusive marriage and now allows her control freak brother- in- law to take over her life and children. Despite the fact that in America, the mother has more rights than the in-laws.
