- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2015A very sad book about the amount of people that were murdered by the Germans. Sad,Sad,Sad.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2015Although I respect the research and effort that the author put into this book, it is really more of a statistical summary of the way the Nazis built and operated the camps, with very little other information. It is, therefore a pretty dry read, and it reminds me more of a resource for a research paper than a book that one would read for a deeper understanding of what occurred here during the holocaust. Lots and lots of numerical data and some maps, but nothing compelling to weave the story together or hold the readers interest. Kudos for compiling the information, but needs to tell a story not just a presentation of brittle, if absolutely horrific, data.
