    Isn't wonderful to know that we don't have to be perfect to be forgiven. Over and over in this sweet romance, the author, reminds us of this blessed truth. God's love goes far deeper than our capabilities of being a 'good' person. Not only did Michelle bring that truth out, but she also brought out God's truth on love and intimate relationships between man and woman, husband and wife. She explained the nature and the special gift that God granted us by needing, wanting and sharing love. Kudos to Michelle for not only giving me a great read but one that reflects the beauty of the Father's love. This was my first book by Michelle Lynn Brown, but it will not be my last.

    Although I thought Renee took far too long to see the truth and focus on her commitment to God rather than her own standards, I enjoyed the story. The book was in need of more extensive editing--for example conscious was used for conscience repeatedly.

    I do appreciate that the book is a stand-alone even though it is part of a series.

    Much like Renee, we have all tried to live down a mistake from our youth. But, as Renee finally learned, we have to let go and let God take control. No matter how hard you try to do the right things, if you're still trying to control the outcome, nothing will end right. Beautifully written Christian romance which I highly recommend!
