    This was a lively story. I enjoy the medical cases that Sarah includes in her books. I loved Liv's efficiency at work, love for her son, and empathy for others. And Stefano also was brilliant at his job and had an excellent bed-side manner, yet doesn't suffer fools gladly. Liv's lack of confidence in herself as a woman got a little wearing after a while. Thankfully, neither of them did anything stupid. I always hate that. You can have tension and conflict without it.

    This is a definate feel good christmas romance worthy of 5 stars
    I'll be honest as far as romances go I'm indifferent to the sexy suave Mediterranean men we see in most romance novels as they tend to lack depth and character BUT in this story Sarah Morgan has made Stefano such a loveable hero he's hard not to like, poor Liv is so lacking in self confidence from a previous relationship that it's impossible not to relate to this realistic heroine and her 7yr old son Max is absolutely adorable the dynamics of the banter and relationship between the characters is fantastic.
    I say this often with Sarah Morgan's books as she is such a lovely romance writer but this is definately my favourite to date
