Great Cover - Interesting Historical Subject
I am grateful to the Local Library Book Fair which allowed me to purchase this book and read and review it. And for the authors work to stimulate our minds to consider his work. It is an interesting read.As a Student of THE American Founding, our founding fathers and mothers and their principles, documents and philosophies, and their organizational clarity. I am familiar with their belief systems and motivations behind this great experiment called America, it origins, its importance to the world and the meanings behind and the origins of the symbols used in all that they did. Including those on our Money. It is true that the Symbolisms which are clearly there on our money have a deep and significant meaning based upon Masonic Foundations and other life and world experiences of our early government persons and entities. But so much more than the author envisions or understand it would seem.It was an enjoyable read as many others have indicated - but - not authoritative and not based on proof, facts, reality or in depth study of the subject matter at hand. This appears to be a book based on some research - but more guessing or limited knowledge - than fact with a great deal of surmising and mere pondering.Oh the basic assertions that the symbols are symbols of something is correct - and the transition from one symbol to a better version of the symbol over the years - is correct. But the core reasoning of what they are symbols off and should mean to us is difficult to grasp upon the foundations of numerology and magic. And terms like "Almost Assuredly" or "Probably" or "Very Likely" throughout the book makes one question the validity of the points trying to be made.My home library is overflowing with writings in history, politics, religion, moral issues, societal & governmental figures and of great thinkers of civilizations past. And the leaders who initiated these creations here in the USA. It would appear that in this book, the author likes the mythological, and the magical, and being connected to the cosmos in some way. However the founders (the vast majority of them) did not believe in these things. And the harder task of trying to really understand the founders through their lives and published writings evaded him somewhat. Those creating, using, and molding these symbols had their roots and "the invention of them" solidly set in their core belief systems, Fraternal Engagements, wealth-of-knowledge on the Ancient Civilizations of the world and the philosophies which worked and those which failed. As indicated this is an interesting and engaging read for anyone - with some areas of questionable clarity. Still recommended as a foundation to further self-study.

I've been studying this topic for years, and bought this book to see if it offered information I didn't know. It included enough fresh information that I'm happy with it.

However, reading it isn't easy. I understand the logic of how the information is organized, but this isn't an easy book to read.

The author gets top marks for thorough and interesting research. I can confirm that most (not all) of his information is accurate and historically founded.

However, the book is best for people like me who are familiar with the subject or don't mind flipping from one section of a book to another, putting the pieces together, in context.

This work is grounded in very careful and painstaking research. It's an excellent resource that helps sort fact from fiction, and takes a measured accounting of some historic relationships and cross currents that are far from easy to untangle. On the whole, I found it an impeccable and precise guide.

Very good information. This book is an intro into how the secret societies (illuminati, freemasons, skull & bones etc.) run this country and what the end game of thier plans are for the United States.
