I really loved this book, even though some mean misunderstandings took place, And forgiveness wasn't easily given, it is a very good book.

So I started reading this book last night and I couldn't put it down even though I hated the hero, Leandro Vialli was tall, handsome, super sexy and rich. He was also cold hearted and treated Marnie like crap. Marnie loved this man and she asked for nothing and that's exactly what he gave her, and maybe even a little less then that. He had a sad childhood and an even more sad adult life. In the end all I can say is the bigger they are the harder they fall. When Marnie realizes that he doesn't love her, she leaves him and from here until the end of the book it's when he has to work to get her back and work he does. I loved loved loved the ending. I gave it four stars because the beginning was so cold I had a real hard time reading thorough it. But having finished I have to say that I recommend it highly.

Marnie and Leandro's story was exciting to read. Loved her smart, scientific mind. She was so giving and loving to Leandro. It takes a bit for Leandro to realize he loves her, but he comes around in the end.

I really hated the H. Do human beings really speak so callously and without respect and caring to someone they expect to keep on sleeping with? She was without doubt the biggest floor cloth you could find. This chick was so weak. She actually unwittingly encouraged his behaviour. He had nothing to lose. He was certainly having his cake and eating it. Note; after all the cruel things he did and said to her, she could not allow herself to be close to him because she could still be "charmed" by him. What a load of crap.
I actually read the whole book because I was curious to see when she would stand up to him and give him a dose of his own medicine, and mean it . Sadly, she needed to have more self-respect and a backbone.

This book had heart break, passion, amnesia, and a surprise pregnancy. The hero was a jerk most of the book, but he won me over the last few chapters. The book cover says the heroine is a waitress, but it didn’t say she was going to college to be a scientist. She was a smart heroine, that ended up falling in love with a super-rich guy. He was arrogant, and mean until she left him. Loved the fact she had a backbone. Once she was gone, he realized how much he really loved her, even tho he didn’t believe in love… eye roll. I’m glad he finally found out what was important to him. Good book.

Marnie thought her relationship with Leonardo meant more than he did. He considered her just another mistress. When she found out she was pregnant she left. But in route to find her brother she had an accident. She awoke with amnesia. She remembered Leonardo but not why she left. What will happen when she remembers? This is a typical HP romance.

i can't decide if i really like the h in this book, halfway through the book i wanted to shake some senses in her. The H was no better, really wanted to kick his BUTT for his behavior towards the h. Ms.Shaw usually write good and exciting stories, but this one wasn't.
