- Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2017What an amazing resource for both the Twitter novice and pro! The tips are relevant, to the point, and include plenty of visual aids and references. The first section helps you set up your account and explore the application, while the other two help you to not only grow your Professional Learning Network (PLN), but how to lead it. I will definitely be referring back to my kindle copy throughout the next school year as I bring my art studio into the 21st Century!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2016I think it's important to start with this sentiment.....this is the first time I've ever felt inspired to write a book review. I read 140 Twitter Tips for Educators in the beginning of summer; it solidified that I was on the right track with professional Twitter use and provided me with an easy roadmap to move forward while developing a year-long social media cohort for teachers in my district. I encourage every educator to read 140 Twitter Tips and engage in discussion #140EduTips! It will change your perception of the use of social media for professional use in education. Thank you @EvolvingEd for creating such a fabulous resource. You hit a home-run!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2019I was a casual Twitter user for the past two years. I heard of the usefulness as an education tool and slowly increased my use. I got some ideas and learned a few new things.
Then at EdCamp LEAD I heard Scott Rocco give the key note. I was insipired by him and the learning that day. Hungry for more I bought this book the next day.
I have relearned Twitter basics, the right way, and moved to a higher level of Twitter use within a week. I hope to become A Twitter “rockstar” as I continue to learn and grow.
As an aspiring leader I have grown my network (PLN) exponentially with my learning growing a the same rate.
This is an easy read that is actionable from the moment you open it!
