Editorial Reviews
Review
The book is little in volume but big on laughs. It will take less than an hour to get through including laugh breaks. It definitely made my day.

About the Author
He has enjoyed writer residencies at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre and the Heinrich Boll cottage. His main hobby is writing film screenplays no-one wants to produce.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2016The Little Book of Sham by Keith Martin is a fun and witty book of insights and reflections that had me giggling and saying, "How true!" or groaning throughout the book. It comes in short spurts of "wisdom" and I just had to keep interrupting others around me and reading to them from the book. I had them laughing or groaning in fun too. A great little book! Please write another! The only problem I found is that the book is too short!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2016Some might describe The Little Book of Sham as Wildean and Orwellian in equal measure. Read it and be enlightened by the everyday musings of an author troubled by where he is and why his GPS keeps failing him
- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2016I am surprised by how much I enjoyed this little book. And little it is... You could probably jump out of a tree and have finished reading it by the time you hit the ground. Touching on the darker idiosyncrasies of life, I'm amused but also slightly ashamed by how much I can relate to it. Would absolutely recommend. However, I would definitely have thrown in an extra fiver for the author to put towards some therapy.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2016This is a 'must read' to understand the thinking persons view of the world. Read it for witticisms that make you say, "now why didn't I think of that?" And then wonder if you did think of it but didn't have the sense to write it down... I had to read it all in one go and now will continue to refer back to it sporadically to bring me a smile. It's like having all my favourite Twitter quotes in one book... buy it!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2016This is an excellent exploration of the absurdity of being human and the twisted culture we live in. The author says what we are all thinking...at least if we are one of the cool kids. I enjoyed this book, my kids enjoyed it, and I think the Pope would enjoy it.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2016Really enjoyed this book by Keith Martin. Light, fun and at times downright profound!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, Quirky yet tastefully presented....
Keith has really reached out, in this little book, and grabbed some of the whirring thoughts which occupy even the most open mind, analysed them and peppered them with his own unique blend of humour. Both charming and witty, with lots of laugh out loud moments. Excellent! Looking forward to reading more from this very naturally talented Author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very amusing.
Rating this book could have been really awkward given that I'm related to the author. Fortunately I didn't have to agonise over whether there was a familial obligation to give a good review, as it's a genuinely funny read. I've recommended it to friends, I'd recommend it to anyone.
