About the Author

Andie Brock started inventing imaginary friends around the age of four and is still doing that today; only now the sparkly fairies have made way for spirited heroines and sexy heroes. Thankfully she now has some real friends, as well as a husband and three children, plus a grumpy but lovable cat. Andie lives in Bristol and when not actually writing, could well be plotting her next passionate romance story.

Andie Brock has been inventing imaginary friends since the age of four. In those days they tended to be of the sparkly fairy variety whereas now she loves to conjure up gorgeously sexy heroes and spirited heroines and wait for the sparks to fly!

Married with three children, Andie lives in Bristol in the south west of England. The family share the house with Pete and Ned, two boisterous young ginger cats.

When not writing, or plotting her next romance, or stopping the cats from tearing the sofa to shreds, Andie likes to wander around the local flea markets in search of a bargain or walk along the beautiful beaches of south Devon where she grew up.

Andie Brock continues to cement her standing as one of Harlequin Presents’ most talented writers with her fourth captivating novel, Bound by His Desert Diamond.

Princess Annalina of Dorrada is being forced to marry King Rashid of Zahani, the ruler of the desert kingdom of Nabatean and Anna is prepared to do everything in her power to get out of this reluctant alliance – even throw herself at the first man she claps eyes on! But unfortunately for Anna, the man in question is none other than Rashid’s brother, Prince Zahir. Shocked at this sudden turn of events, Zahir might have a problem with Anna’s virtue and moral conduct, but he is well aware that if his country is to thrive and succeed, it needs to ally itself with foreign countries such as Dorrada – which is why he suggests to Princess Anna that rather than marry his brother, she marries him instead!

Getting photographed kissing a man who was not her betrothed was meant to get Anna out of her marriage of convenience to a desert ruler – she certainly never thought that she would end up swapping one brother for another. But with no other choice open to her, Anna knows that she must acquiesce to her father’s command and marry Zahir! With one broken engagement behind her, Anna had resigned herself to another failed relationship driven by the burdens of duty and responsibility, but utterly devoid of love – so she is totally flabbergasted when her husband unleashes desires and emotions which she had never experienced before! Giving into temptation and to Zahir’s seductive kisses soon proves inevitable, however, while her new husband has absolutely no qualms about sharing his bed with her, he makes it perfectly clear that his heart is off limits.

Despite his very privileged position as a desert prince, life had taught Zahir some pretty harsh lessons – mainly that he could not trust anyone other than himself! Well aware of the advantages that marriage to a European princess will bring to him and his country, Zahir expected his marriage to Anna to be a perfunctory affair, so nobody is more surprised than him when he finds himself unable and unwilling to stop himself from kissing his new wife.

Will their convenient arrangement give way to everlasting love? Or will old fears and ghosts from their pasts continue to condemn them to a lifetime of unhappiness and regret?

Andie Brock has become one of my go-to authors for sexy, scintillating and enthralling romance and Bound by His Desert Diamond continues her winning streak of enjoyable, engrossing and outstanding contemporary romances. A spellbinding tale of forbidden passion, powerful secrets and healing from the past, Bound by His Desert Diamond features a delightfully feisty and resourceful heroine who was strong, smart and intelligent and a deliciously flawed and gorgeous hero I couldn’t help but love. Add plenty of searing emotion, intense sexual chemistry, red hot sex scenes and poignant romance and you’ve the perfect book to lose yourself into on a cold winter day!

A terrific read from a writer who keeps on getting better and better, Bound By His Desert Diamond is a must-read for fans of Penny Jordan, Lynne Graham and Sharon Kendrick.

An arranged marriage that turns into more than they could have dreamed of! It was a fun read!

Princess Annalina is being forced into an arranged marriage that she will do just about anything to get out of, so she makes sure she's caught kissing another man by the press! Image her surprise when she learns her mystery man is actually the brother of the man she was supposed to marry.

Prince Zahir Zahani is trying his best to hold his brother and his country together, but things just keep going awry! When his brothers wayward bride sets up a photo op that will explode in scandal, he has to take matters into his own hands to save the deal brokered by their two countries and take it upon himself to insist she marry him instead of his brother. He's been burned before by backstabbing and lies, so he's not about to let her out of his sight until they are wed ... but having her constantly by his side makes him start to actually like his fiance!

Sorry to give a negative review, but I can't give more than 1-star. This book is painfully hard to read because of it's errors and inconsistencies in the plot. Spoilers!! An imaginary nation gets economic help -after a princess weds? In Europe today? An oriental nation that has just gained indepence after a terrible war and after recently being under cruel siege - but has vast richnesses and new big palace and new big metropolis?? These historical and economocal idiotisms are a major error in this book and make the whole plot sooooo stupid. A 25-year old princess who has no education, no job, no interests, no friends, no responsibilities in her homeland - at least they are not mentioned. Or backbone. The press is constantly interested of her - of possible scandals - and there are supposed to be hundreds of pictures of her - yet our hero (who arranged the whole marriage) has never heard that the press writes about her?
The mistakes are impossible to ignore. Think of a vast palace where a princess can run half-naked and never see a servant? The King goes berserk in the wrong room and there's nobody - nobody but our hero to help. The room was on the other side of the palace, but still our heroine wakes up to the noise tve King is making and goes to examine - and there are NO SERVANTS!! No staff at all! In one occasion there was a bulk of bodyguards but suddenly, at his own wedding, the Prince -our Hero the groom- gets into a fistfight IN THE CASTLE GARDEN and NOBODY sees or comes between! Again - no staff. Then he calls 911 (cause there's no staff in a society wedding?) - I wanted to weep.
The author was painfully ignorant of the living of the rich and titled but wrote about it anyway. This junk was the sorry result.
The inner dialogue of the heroine was mostly really boring - and the hardfaced Heroe's sudden capitulation to lovey-dovey speak in the end was unconvincing.
I won't try this author again.

Princess Annalina is about to announce her engagement. The marriage has been arranged by her father and she does not want to go ahead with it. To get out of the engagement she pulls a stunt, only to find the man that she is kissing is her future husband’s brother. Now she must marry Prince Zahir. The sparks begin to fly.

The characters in this book are intriguing. There are unexpected twists along the way. You find yourself cheering for Annalina as she stands up to Zahir and tries to break down the barrier that he has put up around himself.

Andie Brock’s latest novel: Bound by His Desert Diamond hooked me from page one because it is scandalous, passionate, unique and electrifying. The author does a fine job incorporating sexual tension, sharp dialogue and a devastating attraction between Princess Annalina and Prince Zahir which mellows out their mistakes and leaves you satisfied with their passionate reunion in the end! Overall, this is an engaging story readers would most certainly enjoy.

Good...If one likes MidEast Sheikh stories with huge palaces and cities and Royal backdrop.
I like virginal heroines and alpha males and it's getting 3 stars for that.
