Knight Quests is the second book in the Knights of the Swan series by C.C. Wiley. I read this book as a standalone but would definitely like to read the first book in the series too. This is also the first book that I have read by this author. I really enjoy historical romance stories and I loved the medieval setting for this one. The story was written well for the time period the story was set in.
The story had a great forbidden love theme to it as Drem, a newly appointed Knight of the Swan, finds himself sheltering a French orphan, Brigitte. She sparks something within him but he knows that falling for the enemy is an act of treason.
There was just something about Drem that drew me to him; I loved his protectiveness of Brigitte even though he knew this could come with consequences.
Overall I thought that the story was fast paced with a great suspense theme running through it. I loved that historical feel to it. I thought that the characters were well developed and I would definitely like to read more from this author in the future.

'Knight Quests' by C.C. Wiley is Book Two in the "Knights of the Swan".
I feel this can be a stand alone book. This was a medieval romance story that told how Brigitte de Marnier and Drem Ap Dafydd. Brigitte was an orphan who ended up a band of thieves for a family. Drem who is trying to prove himself after what happened with his father has been trying to earn his postion as a Knight of the Swan. A romance between these two should be...but love finds it way...as it did with their story.
Overall enjoyed their story.

I really liked this medieval romance. Brigitte is an orphan who created a family from a group of thieves and Drem is a soldier trying to prove himself. The story is fast paced with lots of suspense and drama and the story held my interest throughout. A good read.

No one does Medieval Romance like C.C. Wiley. Her descriptions, amazing characters, heart-pounding conflicts and sweeping drama suck me in every time. Cannot wait for book 3!

Brigitte learns to trust and accept protection from Drem, a knight of the enemy . He must decide to trust his heart or his duty. Settle in for a good medieval tale and knights to warm a cool evening.

This was a medieval romance story of Brigitte de Marnier and Drem Ap Dafydd. This book is second in a series but can be read as standalone in my opinion. It is an enjoyable read.
